Very nice restaurant to have a delicious and fresh japanese food. It's not a cheap place but it's worthy every penny. Great atmosphere, nice decor with beautiful people. One of the best restaurants in Miami for sure. Plates served in small porcions so you can taste many dishes. The desserts are the best. Busy restaurants at night. Highly Recommended.

Beautiful location, we had a menu of fresh sushi chosen from a friend been here many times. Beautiful girls all around, but is for sure not a cheap place, you better know this before having bad surprises.

The accolades this restaurant receives for its food are well-deserved. Portion sizes are small and designed to share so order three or four items per person. Memorable dishes on a recent visit were the marinated black cod, sea scallops with white asparagus, soft shell crab and grilled branzino. The sashimi is also very high quality. Finished with an interesting banana and green tea cake with coconut ice cream for dessert.

Some reviewers complain about the service. My experience was very positive: an attentive and well-informed waiter, backed up by good team collaboration. My advice is (a) make your reservation well in advance and ask for a window table (or if the weather is good an outdoor table on the rail) and (b) arrive five or ten minutes ahead of your reservation time so that you can get ahead of others who have reserved at the same hour. Most impoortant, arrive well-dressed. You don't have to look like Don Johnson in Miami Vice but my observation was that guests who dressed like bums were treated like bums and seated accordingly.

I have eaten in this particular zuma about a dozen times, I find that the food is always top class. It's bye far one of the trendiest places in the Mia, which makes booking a real pain. Especially in the evening, I always prefer going for lunch, it's far less hectic and you enjoy the amazing water views. You can also do a walk in if you have the courage, last time I waited 1 hour in the bar for a table.
The sushi is impeccable and the Japanese style grill is also delightful. They also have a wagyu, truffle sushi which is my favorite. Bone in ribeye is also a solid choice. The sake carte was quite complete and the prices are on par with this tier of restaurant. I would not go as far as saying this is the best restaurant in Miami, but it is indeed in my top 5.

I have eaten here before, but on my recent trip only visited the bar. They have a nice wine and cocktail selection. The atmosphere is vibrant with chill lounge music and chic decor. If dining here, you can choose to sit outside by the water.
