Loved this place! Overlooking the water, nice atmosphere, great food. It gets crowded, so make a reservation. It's expensive, but a very nice place to enjoy an evening.

I have been to Zuma several times over the past year and although the food is quite delicious, the space is impossibly LOUD and the wait staff is hit and miss. This could be partially due to the fact that it is very busy, however, since it is ALWAYS busy, that is not actually an excuse. For the money, I would go elsewhere, unless you need to be with the "need to be seen crowd".

Despite the pricey-ness of this restaurant, it is a place worth visiting over and over again. I have been to zuma quite a few times and it is always a delicious experience. I strongly recommend trying at least one sushi roll - I love the spicy yellowtail. The sushi is incredible because of the very thin layer of rice and the generous portion of fish inside. I have pretty much tried the whole menu but some items worthy of note are the: soft shell crabs, scallop tartare, seabass sashimi,
and a dish with half salmon tartare and half tuna tartare (one of my ultimate favorites). The prawn and cod dumplings are incredible and same with the rice hotpot with wild mushrooms if you are looking for something on the heavier side. Service is attentive of course and always has great recommendations. On a nice night, you should request to sit outside. The view is absolutely incredible being right on the water and all. I also love the atmosphere and the classy vibe it has. It is a place for young people and also an older crowd. You will not regret coming to Zuma, it will be money well spent! Must go!!

First you need to make reservations at least one week in advance. I made reservations on Tuesday for Saturday night and the only time I could get was 10:30pm; but I did not mind.

Our wait time for our table was about 5 mins, even though we were five minutes late in arriving.

The service was great. The food was excellent. Some reviewers found the dinner rushed, this was my second time there, and that was not our experience.

Desert was fantastic.

Definitely I will be back again.
