“Relaxing, stylish, and delicious food”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Stayed at the Epic Hotel here in Miami, of which Zuma is their signature restaurant. The food, service and overall ambiance is everything I would expect from a classy restaurant. Seems to be a favorite with the well-heeled Miami 30-something set as well.

Good lively ambience. Japanese foodies will love it. Its japanese with a continental touch. Service is good and fast. Food is excellent. Reserve your table well in advance. Sometimes the waiting is 5 to 6 days.

Loved Zuma! We have been traveling for 3 weeks on honeymoon and dining at well rated restaurants around the U.S. Zuma was way up there as one of the best meals we have had. The food was amazing, service was great. Highly recommend the signature been tenderloin dish, I'm not a red meat eater normally but I ate every mouthful willingly! Delicious meal all round.

“Zuma London and Dubai are better”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

If you're a traveller and not the sort of person to go to the same restaurants repeatedly then I suggest that you give this one a miss. London/Dubai are better in atmosphere, decoration, location, and even quality of the food.

Just one thing that was unacceptable in a restaurant in this price range. The table next to us (for two) had a couple of girls who either booked incorrectly (or zuma booked for them incorrectly). Either way, a third girl pulled up and they brought her a stool to 'squeeze in'. This made everyone uncomfortable given the tiny space between tables. (The waiters were bumping into our table trying to get around the non existent space after this point). This lasted about 3 minutes until my wife complained in a reasonably assertive tone after which point the girls were re-located (probably to the bar). Anyway overall the experience was too much hassle. They still get some stars for the black cod and the knowledgable waitress.
