Greek restaurant. We went Sunday for a late lunch and had a very nice family and friend get together. The kids had Giro´s with they loved and we had great fish, lamb and specially the greek salad. Big size dishes.

Is the Aegean becoming a victim of its own success? A recent visit to MAB has me rethinking my previous rave review. First of all, they have replaced all of the chairs with new ones that are so uncomfortable that the thought of a leisurely meal sitting in one is unpleasant - but maybe that is the idea... get people in and out so that the crowds of people flocking to the place can be seated? I usually start with an order of the steamed mussels that have magically shrunk by about 1/2. An order of these tasty bivalves is no longer something to share. And worst of all the waiter I had was abysmal - I might as well have been in Paris she was so disinterested in her task of serving. My table didn't get its ordered wine until the entree arrived and bringing this to the attention of various staff did nothing to remedy the problem. This makes no sense considering alcohol is how restaurants make their real profit - MAB could have served us three rounds instead of one and made some money on the table except for the sullen, unprofessional waiter. When I left I mentioned this to the manager who had a real "meh" attitude. I think this is a foolish response to a good customer - but maybe that is not important to MAB when they have a line at the door.

This is not the kind of place that's located in a fancy area of the city. This place seems to be a locals favorite and it's easy to understand why. The atmosphere is vintage and romantic. The food is amazing and prices are very reasonable.
I tried the grilled octopus, the greek salad, beef & lamb meatballs, and everything was delicious.
From the moment you enter here, you stop being in Miami and feel like transported to a small village somewhere in Greece. During the day, the place is lovely, and during the night, the terrace is adorned with candle lights to make it even more romantic. There are also tables indoors and outdoors, and all spaces are most charming, find yours!

As the title says we love this restaurant, the good the atmosphere and the feeling of escape. You don't feel like you are in Miami, also you see a different crowd.

In our opinion the starters are the way to go and eat more like you would with tapas, the salads are also great in the same way. Main courses are ok but not as good as the starters! This does increase the price as always when eating tapas but worth it. The 3 x dip starter is a must!

Service is generally good, generally efficient but some staff could be a little more pleasant. I still LOVE this place, but this would be my only slight recommendation.

Book a table in evenings strongly recommended otherwise you will have a long wait :)
