The tour guide was nice, informative and helpful. All the stops were great so go with an appetite! If possible go on the tour at the beginning of your trip because you may want to revisit these locations again and again while in town!

Our tour guide was Mirka and she was great – very knowledgeable and entertaining. As usual, we learned a little bit about the city while we enjoyed some local cuisine and drinks! It was quite sunny that day and definitely lots of walking. I would suggest sun block if you burn easily and comfortable shoes. I enjoyed the food at every stop and the servings were GENEROUS so come ready to eat!
• Bolivar – Corona & Champagne Soda drink, empanadas, ceviche
• Churros Manolo – Amazing Churros with caramel filling
• David’s Cafe – local “ventana” where we enjoyed a colada. Sweetened espresso served with little mini espresso shot containers.
• Polo Norte – Lechon, maduros, plantain chips with a special garlic & mustard puree
• Blocks Pizza Deli – Sun dried hippie block pocket which had feta, baby spinach, sun dried tomatoes, basil, pesto, kalamata olives. Owners are actually from Italy.
• Milani Gelateria – Two very generous servings what 2 flavors of our choice. I had the Tiramisu and Butter Pecan which were delish!
In addition to the restaurants, we saw Versace’s mansion and learned a lot about South Beach and its art deco history.

This is one of the best food tours I've done. The guide's energy was apparent and passed onto our group of 7 made the SoBe tour great. We visited:
David's Cafe
Polo Norte
Blocks Pizza Deli
Charlotte Bakery
Milani Geleteria.
We also made stops at several hotels and in from of buildings to enjoy a view (Congress Hotel) or learn a bit about art deco architecture. The tour was a perfect mix of food and history. Regarding the food we learned about the ingredients in what we tasted, the restaurant's history, and the history of the country whose food we were eating. I highly recommend this company. They also offer tours of Little Havana and Wynwood over in downtown Miami.

Mirka was such a great guide and even recommended her favorite locals' places for mojitos! Here enthusiasm and passion for South Beach's culture and wonderful food and life was infectious. I will sign up for the tour again in the future.

The South Beach Food Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to the Miami area. If at all possible, I would recommend scheduling it early in your trip so you can later take advantage of all of the great food suggestions the guide may have for you that are not included in the tour! Also, you will want to revisit the spectacular stops you make while touring. Our tour guide, Ritchie, was excellent. Our tour was a cultural, historical, yummy exploration of South Beach complemented by their gorgeous Art Deco architecture. Considering the amount of food and the information shared, it was a great value: total charges for two adults was $124: no way we could have found the delicious food they provided for that amount of money.

We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale, and headed down early afternoon to tour South Beach, as we had a 5:00PM tour. Would have been better to take the tour first, obviously; if we had been able to get the earlier time. Some areas are a little seedy. We trekked up to Lincoln Road for some window shopping, and this was a much nicer area if you are looking for a place to kill time on foot.

I would suggest bring towelettes to wipe your hands after stops. Miami Culinary Tours recommends that you carry a bottle of water, but it was not really necessary for us, they did a great job of providing beverages.
