This is a very functional, fine hotel with spacious rooms and very comfy beds. There are a few quirks: my rooms was very dark (mood lighting??) and the carpet had seen better days. The decor is a bit modernist, but the room layout is good. I did like the separate toilet room and shower/sink room, as well as the divider between the bedroom and the sitting area. The work desk was quite useful as well. Unlike Homewood Suites, these suites do not have a kitchenette.
Taxi drivers seemed to have a hard time finding the place, and there isn't anything useful withing walking distance - but it is close to the medical center for those with business or health needs. While the highway is nearby, I really didn't hear it from my room.
As other reviewers noted, there were individuals roaming the halls slipping pizza delivery ads and flyers under the door. These people seemed to have name badges that were issued by the front desk, but it was nonetheless disconcerting to find them in the hall or to have papers appear under the door. I'd much prefer to see the hotel make up some binders with restaurant and pizza menus and leave them in the rooms permanently.More
