“Worth the drive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2012

This place was featured in a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives episode. On a recent trip to Florida, I visited 4 Triple D locations and this was one of them. I had a very tasty sandwich-- it was deep-fried shrimp on a bun.

Visitors need to know that this is a lunch counter place, not a sit down restaurant. Most of their business is take-out. But absolutely worth a visit.

The place is also spotless-- very impressed with how clean and well kept it is.

“A real value in Little Havana”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2012

The fried shrimp are the best I've ever had. The fish sandwich is great. As fresh as seafood can be. They also serve ground black eyed pea hushpuppies. perhaps an aquired taste. many love them. They serve a soup that peaple rave about. Stand up counter service. Place can get crowded but worth finding. A taste of the best of Miami food at a very good price

“A real find!”

Sketchy neighbourhood and doesn't look like much from outside. Standing room only! The food is out of this world. Fresh fish and seafood, great prices, CASH ONLY! The shrimp are unbelievable.

“It's Better than it looks!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2012

Went here after going to opening day at the new Marlin's Stadium....I saw this on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives...wellll, from the outside it looks like a dive and from inside too! BUT, the food was very good...the shrimp was awesome ( try the green sauce!) the Pan Minuta sandwich was excellent and my Bro in law had the shrimp sandwich....everything was great....try it you'll like it!

“Fantastic!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2012

The fish is as fresh as you can get! The only down side is the standing up while eating. The prices are unbelievably cheap! This place was featured on the show, "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." I eat here whenever in the area!
