Addikt is on the 15th floor of W Miami hotel with views of Key Biscayne. Inside décor makes you feel outside with wraparound floor to ceiling windows. Terrace seating almost ready. Its a sleek ambiance. They have a very good staff, a Puerto Rico vibe to the menu. They use lentils instead of rice as a base, they use red beans, and garlic.

I went here for the Miami Spice Lunch - this is what I ordered - 1st course - Bang Bang Tuna Tartare - Sweet and sour bang bang sauce, serrano, avocado, shiso, truffle, ponzu, rice crackling, 2nd course - Foreign Affairs - Tandoori spiced chicken and garlic naan tacos, avocado, cilantro, charred onions, black beans, yogurt raita and dessert course - Strawberry Cheesecake Mason Jar, Yuzu Strawberry Compote, Graham Crackers.

The place was bright and airy, but not busy at all, with fabulous views from the 15th floor. This is why I chose to come for the views and also the description of their food - which got my intrigued, so full marks there - as surely people view menus when they choose a restaurant!

The server was very friendly and seemed to know the menu - only fault was I originally ordered the cheesecake then told him I changed my mind... could I change it? he said cheesecake or choc dessert and I said chocolate, and then he STILL brought out the cheesecake!. It looked good so I just had it (typical English do not like to make a fuss).

First course - was my favourite of the three - a real pop of flavours in your mouth with the fire from the thin chilly spices, I would say the sweet and sour sauce was more sour which pretty much tasted more soya sauce, so I did not detect any sweetness. It looked very pretty and the wonton crisps were very crispy, fresh and had tiny little sesame seeds incorporated in them.

Main course - The nan breads were delicate and not too heavy and had a nice flavor, I wish however I had more yoghurt on this dish and perhaps more cilantro - as it was a little dry - with the amount that they put on. However the chicken WAS NOT dry, it was cooked perfectly. Also just being a bit fussy now - the avocado was not the freshest!

Dessert - delicate very creamy cheesecake - looked as pretty as a picture with cute little pansy flowers on the side. I don't think it was a mason jar dessert?? ie not served in a pot. Also I wished there was more crumble to go with it.
