My friend and I decided to take a general tour of Miami to get our bearings and to help us organize for the rest of our stay. Jorge gave extra attention to our small group and went out of his way to take good care of us! I trust his ideas and suggestions. Thanks Miami our Company for Jorge and your excellent busses, water, and movie screens.

Four of us booked the four hour driving tour of Miami. We were picked up promptly in a modern Sprinter mini bus. Jim was very courteous and a wealth of knowledge. We enjoyed the tour very much and it made a great start to our vacation.

We booked a boat cruise, Miami tour and Everglades tour with Miami Tour Company after reading reviews on line. They exceeded our expectations. Pick up was arranged accurately. On the first morning we were held up in traffic as a result of an accident and they doubled back to get us. The drivers were friendly and professional and drove safely. The tour commentaries were excellent. The buses were comfortable and clean. And you get great value for money. Thanks Eddie, Derek and Jorge for your outstanding service and sharing your local stories with us.

I was with a travelling party of 4 who had just finnished a cruise that went in and out of miami, but unfortunately didnt get chance to have over night there. I priced airfares out of miami for when the cruise finnished which were expensive so decided to fly out of fort lauderdale instead, could only get a flight for around 6 pm though. So thought this was a good oppertunity to get a transfer that combined port pick up tour of miami and drop of at fort lauderdale. This worked well as we needed to be able to accomadate our luggage. It was prob a better option for a group of more than 4 as we had a big sprinter van for just the four of us which wasnt nessesary really but great anyway. Our driver was exellent, apparently his son owned the buisiness so he was working for him.
Great tour saw so much more than we could of mannaged our selves and would highly recommend this trip for any one on a quick visit to such a lovelly part of the world.
Thanks miami tours!

First and last bus tour I am ever takingI hate giving bad reviews but this was a complete waste of money! I purchased a ticket for the Original Miami + Everglades Tour based on all the great reviews on tripadvisor. I was very disappointed - this tour is only good if you like going around to see celebrity homes and where shows and movies were filmed - a little here and there was fine but it felt like it got excessive. The only cool part was getting to see the cemetery where Thriller was supposedly partly shot.

I knew that the bus was only going to stop at 6 stops which is fine. I also knew that they would be about 15 minutes each, also, fine. What I didn't expect were the celeb homes, and randomly driving thru neighborhoods. I felt that if it weren't for the circling around the neighborhoods of little significance, we'd be able to spend more time at Vizcaya (which the bus literally just circled around the parking lot), little Havana, CocoWalk, etc. - which are all important places of Miami.

What else was bad was that there was cheesy music playing on the bus.

The airboat tour at Gator Park was pretty cool, but I will review that park separately.

If you like going around to see star's homes and stores, this is for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and find a cheap rental car and go to the places yourself. It'll be a better way to explore the culture and flavors of Miami!

PS the tour guide was nice enough though. If you don't understand English too much, they provide you with an audio headset in the language of your choice - which I thought is a very good idea.

Dear MLS Traveler,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Although these are not the type of reviews we like to receive, sometimes we have to take the bad with the good.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your tour and would like to speak with you about that if you care to phone us.

I want to take the time to respond to your "1 Star" review as I feel you may have been somewhat harsh with that low rating.

Truly, wasn't there a whole lot more than just "celebrity homes"? The only celebrity homes we took you to see were the Versace Mansion, Sylvester Stallone's home, and the house where Madonna used to live, which we think are all interesting sites.

You stated the only cool part was the Charlotte Jane Cemetery where Thriller was "supposedly" filmed. You made no mention of the walking tour through the Biltmore Hotel, or visiting the Venetian Pools, the Holocaust Memorial, the Art Deco District, or Little Havana.

You said the driver was "nice enough"? Did he furnish you with cold water? Did he give you a glossy tour map? Was he knowledgeable about the history of Miami?

Did you travel over the William Powell Bridge and get a good look at both the city-scape and the huge bay to the south?

Did you go around Cartagena Circle and see the "Comfortable Old Shoes" which were sent from Cartagena Columbia to it's sister city, Coral Gables?

Was the "house of spies" pointed out to you? Which the CIA used and stored their speedboats which ran teams to Cuba during the early Castro years?

We gave you 30 minutes to explore Coconut Grove. I'm sorry that was not long enough for you. The only reason I can give for that is we have so many places to see, and we need to stay on schedule.

Once again, I'm sorry we didn't live up to your expectations.

Kind regards,

Michelle Moore
