We enjoyed a great meal with wonderful service. The calamari appertizer was lightly breaded and very tasty. The pasta dishes are great. The waiters kept filling up our glasses with wine and water without us having to ask. Great atmosphere on a cool night in the Grove.

My wife and I have stayed at the Mayfair in Coconut Grove several times but never saw this restaurant because it's a few blocks past the busier parts of the neighborhood. We only found this place because the clerk at the hotel told us it was the best Italian food around. Boy, am I glad for the recommendation. The restaurant is huge - a large outdoor (covered) seating area, lots of indoor tables, and multiple bars. We had the mozzarella and tomato salad to start. My wife had grigliata mista (grilled tuna, shrimp, salmon, tilapia over spinach) and and I had shrimp alfredo. We had canolis for desert. The food was absolutely delicious. We also shared a good bottle of reasonably-priced pinot noir. The waiter brought us complimentary cappuccinos as he brought our check, and like everything else, they were delicious.

We will definitely return to this restaurant next year (probably for Sunday brunch). Top of the line food and not too expensive.
