Miami tends to be pricey, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a place nearby the Metro system that was both affordable and not a complete dump. I was able to meet Racheli (the owner) upon arriving and shown around the house. There is a kitchen, fridge, and washer and dryer (no need to go to a laundromat when you're already bone tired! Yay!). It's not family friendly, or pet friendly, but a great place to stay, nonetheless. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating was that it isn't in a super stellar part of town (although, it is equipped with a security system and good locks) and that can be a huge turn-off for those who would prefer a less shady neighborhood.
