Immersion in a kind of old building. It's a museum, a collection of antiques from all europe (mainly Italy). Nice garden.

“Amazing place to visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

If you visit Miami, make time to tour this incredible mansion. From the home, to the gardens, Vizcaya's history is quite amazing. Be sure, if you do not wish to take a guided tour, (we didn't) spend the $5.00 to use the recorded tour. I highly recommend a visit here!!!

“Ejoyable, Take advantage of the free tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

We spent a couple hours at Vizcaya. We arrived just after the last guided tour had finished so walked the mansion and gardens in a self guided manner. It was enjoyable but I am sure we would have gotten much more out of it and enjoyed it more with a guided tour. These kind of attractions don't really thrill me, but again the two hours we spend were nice. While not an issue for me or my traveling companion, I kept thinking that for someone with limited mobility it would really struggle, both touring the mansion and gardens. I also think most young children would likely be bored and become restless and unhappy quickly.

“Wonderful Museum, a must see in Miami!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful old mansion and immaculate gardens. We took a free tour and it was nice hearing the history of the house. The tour guide would ask the group questions and that got to be a little annoying. The views were really nice - seeing the ocean out the back and gardens out the side made us take pictures. Overall we enjoyed it and will recommend it to friends.

It was a neat place to visit....I'm glad I went - was just disappointed that there were not more flowering plants...but it was beautiful!
