“Very interesting!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Visited Miami Science Museum on a recent trip to Miami with my family. We had a great time wandering around the exhibits and enjoyed a talk on wildlife from one of the staff. The planetarium was brilliant and the talk was given by a very droll, witty and interesting man. I see there are plans to build a new museum and I hope nothing is lost when this happens. A must see for everybody!

“Disappointed”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

We decided to visit based on the planetarium shows. The exhibits are simple and broken. There aren't any signs or guides, you seem to just wander through the maze. Nothing from the exhibits was awesome but the biggest disappointment was the planetarium shows. They are cartoonish and poor technical quality.

We left in an hour after viewing the exhibits behind the front desk, watching a wild life film that was narrated with a strong french accent and french subtitles, then a laser show of constellations.

Daily shows of the planetarium included in a fair price. Interesting and funny for kids and families.

“Great For Whole Family”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Our family ranges in age from 13 to 51 and we all really liked this place. Make sure to check out the sea lab. You can touch some of the sea creatures. We spent about 2 hours here. Right across from Vizcaya . Highly recommend both places.

“Great interactive family fun”
Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

There's LOTS for all ages to do! Little ones are always itching to grab and touch and play with things. This place has lots to try, learn, experience and enjoy.

We appreciated the staff from the moment we checked in at the desk. The planetarium laser show is clearly outdated, but our kids enjoyed it, having an opportunity to touch and hold sea stars/starfish was awesome! Even my 1-year-old had things he could safely touch & play with!

Love bringing families here when they visit Miami. Thank you!
