arrived at 1 am of jan 19th. not a good impression. the rooms are old but not bad. not a dirty hotel.
many guests said "1 night and go": they are completely right because the hotel is near the airport (21 dollars), it has a shuttle service, wifi but, on the other side is old, noisy (the highway is close), the service is almost rude, the breakfast is a warm drink and...nothing else!
i had no security problem nor i met "special" people.

Look, I'm no stranger to cheap hotels but this was the worst of the worst! took a shower when i checked in then walked around barefoot for a couple minutes. I looked at the bottom of my feet and they where BLACK from the filth of the carpet. slept fully clothed, the smell of whatever industrial grade cleaner they use was unbearable, the beds are old with springs poking out.
It was convenient for parking the car for the duration of my cruise but trust me, it is worth the few extra dollars to stay somewhere else.

This was by far the filthiest scariest hotel I have ever stayed at. We chose this Hotel online based on the proximity to our Cruise Port and price. The first room they placed us in was so filty and smelled like squatters have lived there for months. We asked for another room and they did accomidate that request, but my son left his backpack inthe room (with is 3DS) and when we called about it they claimed that they didn't find one in there!! The ammenities listed are a JOKE...everything was broken. The televisions in the room were from 1980 and barely got reception. The dressers were broken and cracked. The bathroom had certain "hair" all over the seat and around the floor...which was also in the shower. We wouldn't go outside after dark because the area was scary and there were people arguing in the parking lot and possible drug dealings going on. The photos listed were probably from 20 years ago because this hotel is run down...I agree with a previous comment, this is for prostitutes and john, not for families.

It took the free shutle one hour to pick me up @ airport. The room is ok. But EXTREMELY NOISY. My room was directly by the Dolphin highway.. Slept fore less than 3 hours. It a very busy highway no matter what time. Spend 20$ more and go somewhere else.....

Room Tip: Try rooms in the front because in the back it s like sleeping on the roadside of an 8 track highway.

I have stayed in worse but I guess you take pot luck with which room you get, or maybe you need to challenge the desk if you get a horrible one. Mine had a little kitchen that had definately seen better days and overall, the furnishings were definately ready for replacement, however my son's room was much nicer and looked recently refurbished.
Two plus points, it has free, fairly secure, partly covered parking and the University Restaurant attached does great burgers and breakfasts with good value and friendly service.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the refurbished rooms.

The rooms were filthy, sinks and tub painted over, beds nasty. This is a drug dealing and prostitute hotel.

Room Tip: Do not stay here!

My mom was fooled by the ads and website. I dont have high standards when it comes to hotels. The word disgusting can not beging to describe this place; the facade looked run down, the rooms were cramped and dirty, the carpets were moldy, the bed collapsed when i sat on them, the outlets had no outer lining, and almost each room smells of either smoke or mold. I question how this place still has any business, probably from false advertising. The room smelled so bad that i thought about sleeping with the door open. it was so bad that my mom and brother could not breathe and we checked out at around 1:10am to sleep in our rental car at the airport. The only reason we stayed at this hotel is because it was cheap, but for this quality, it is a serious ripoff. What's more is that the staff does absolutely nothing to make this place more hospitable. I'm surprised the government has not shut this place down yet.

Room Tip: "dont choose a room" "stay away from this inn" "let the reviews of others...
