“What a beautiful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The Epic hotel is amazing. Beautiful, stylish with great service. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for helping make our anniversary so special. The front staff: Emily, Allen and Mari were very friendly and surprised us with a room upgrade. The room, the pool area, Zuma's far exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in April 2013 for our anniversary.
We had a room overlooking the pool area and water and also with a view towards down town which at night looks amazing all lit up. Comfy bed and large bathroom. Lots of space. They could do with a fridge though.
We ate breakfast outside in the sunshine and the food was very nice..my only gripe is that it is quite expensive (food and the accommodation). I have stayed at the Hilton on Ft Lauderdale beach before and I would say that is on a par with the Epic for less money - I guess you are paying for the downtown location.
Close by is Bayfront Park and Bayside with restaurants and bars (a short walk).
The hotels pool area is lovely with great views as well. The pool attendants are very helpful and will set up your lounge with towels and they come round regularly topping up your water. You can also order drinks and food.
Nots sure I would stay again - would probably try the Kimpton on Miami Beach as we popped in there to have a look and it looked nice with gardens out to the beach.

We stayed here for 3 nights and this place is amazing, great service, big and clean rooms, huge bathrooms, nice balcony with water/pool view. There are two pool areas where each area has several pools. The location is also pretty good with easy access to the metromover, various busses, and taxis. The hotel provides free wifi and free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we will definitely come back to EPIC if i return to Miami.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. My family and I travel to Miami quite regularly and for the last 2 years, the Epic is home away from home. The rooms are comfortable and very sleek. The hotel itself is quite glamorous but is not intimidating, you feel welcome the minute you walk in.

exhale Spa is a must do. It is beautiful and the Core Fusion classes are an amazing workout. You leave feeling energized and toned, ready for a great night out on South Beach!

A special mention must go out to the staff and the lovely general manager, Jacqueline Ploettner. The staff are helpful, attentive and bring a real meaning to excellence in customer service. Jacqueline ensures every guest is looked after and every stay is perfect.

Thank you all for the service and the attention to detail. A 5 star experience every time.

Room Tip: We always book the one bedroom water view suite and the adjoining city view junior suite. It connect...

This is an amazing hotel. The service was great. The hotel is pretty busy, but the staff does a great job of making sure they get to you in a timely manner. The room was very big and I enjoyed sitting on my spacious balcony and watching people at the pool. There are two pools but one was closed for renovations and even still, it never got really crowded. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious experience.

I stayed at the Epic for 3 nights for a wedding-the staff was kind and efficient. The rooms are nice and have both a shower and soaking tub. The hotel hosts a wine hour from 5-6 pm nightly and serves a red wine, white wine and sangria. Spacious rooms with a balcony-ours overlooked the pool area. There was a DJ at the pool area sometimes. Only one pool was in service during our visit. Unfortunately, our room was right off the elevator so we could hear the "bing" sound early AM/late nights. A note about the bathroom faucet, if it is operated in the middle position to use warm water, the pipes would make a squealing sound, all one has to do is to adjust to warmer or colder to get rid of the noise. We were able to hear other guests pipes early in the AM when they departed so that was a little annoying. All in all, if visiting Miami, I would choose Epic again but ask to be away from elevators.

Room Tip: Don't get a room near elevators, if you're looking for quiet there is a DJ that plays poolsi...
