“Great way to spend Saturdays”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Fresh-produce market right in the heart of Little Havana was a pleasant surprise for a walk around the neighbourhood. Excellent bars and bistro restaurants to choose from all within walking distance. Excellent proximity to the Metro-Mover (free) pedestrian train for access for various other downtown Miami locations.

Reviewed February 7, 2013

If you wanna spend a different day in miami you can visit this area. everybody speak spanish, you can hear reggaeton in the streets and enjoy latino food.
we suggest to visit the "maximo gmez park" to see people palying dominos or the "brigade 2506 memorial" who celebrates the cubans dead during the pigs bay invasion in 1961 at the end you can't miss the prepration of cygars in one of the many little factories all over 8th avenue.

“A Cuban delight”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Even though I am not Cuban, not even latin american, I am European from Portugal, I have quite a few friends that left Cuba at the end of the fifties, and every time I go to Miami I love to just go by Little Havana, meet some of them and enjoy an Expresso on one of those corner café's and just listen and watch...

“Viernes Culturales Made the Trip Memorable”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

I was lucky to be in Little Havana for Viernes Culturales. Such a festive, beautiful event-- it was a highlight of my visit to Miami. Great vibe all along Calle Ocho, wonderful restaurants and galleries, plus the charming Domino Park. The neighbors obviously take pride in their heritage and neighborhood; this is a very worthwhile experience for anyone who wants to experience the unique culture firsthand.
