My wife loved the blue crab quiche and my younger son loved the cheese grits. Everything we ordered had to be made, but that made it taste better. Would recommend this to anyone looking to take just a bit of time for a nice breakfast. Had the feel of being a local spot.

Blue Marlin does offer boar's head meat, which is nice, but aside from that the sandwiches are done awfully cheaply. With all the credentials and awards on the wall, I'd expect a little more ingenuity with the menu.

we were driving through to Apalachicola and first stopped at a pizza place nearby but decided to turn around and try the "gourmet deli" it was a let down, maybe Mexico beach has limited good places to eat as most of reviews think this place is great. i had a turkey ruben that was 7.99 and was one of the thinnest rubens i have ever had, a few slices of meat and very little Russian dressing, it should be loaded with both. my wife had the pulled pork special and it was dry and uninspired, pulled pork should be quite moist. maybe it sat for too long. the staff were friendly so that was the high point. we should have kept driving!

While staying in Port St. Joe, Florida with my husband and brother we picked up 3 sandwiches at this deli on the beach. They were so good we have been back 3 more times! The sandwiches were excellent and better than anything else on the beach. My husband was in the food business for years and was very impressed by the way the owner runs this deli. Everything was sparkling clean and he really knows how to make a great sandwich. He washes his hands probably a thousand times a day. We would recommend this deli to anyone in the area, you can't go wrong.

They serve Boar's Head brand meat which is pretty good. Unfortunately you don't get much. Turkey sandwich on Kaiser had ONE slice of turkey that was the thickness of a quarter and ONE slice of cheese that wasn't any thicker. Better off going to Piggly Wiggly and buying ingredients to make your own sandwich.
