“Beach as pretty and clear as destin without the crowd”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

The beach was very calm and clear without the crowd. There was a storm blowing in at the end of the week and the water wasn't as clear but the beach and ocean was fantastic

“Pleasant Little Beach Town”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

The beach was really nice, quiet, and very laid back, unlike nearby Panama City Beach. There wasn't much nearby which can be good or bad. We enjoyed the quietness of the town,

“Worth A Visit”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

I wasn't going to write a review about Mexico Beach but since some want to trash the experience then here is the truth. The beach is not narrow but has a substantial width to it beginning at the canal and running it's full length to the Gulf County line. If you want to see a narrow beach then try Indian Pass. Mexico Beach can get crowded, just like any other beach, but seasoned beach goers or anyone should just know that lol. This is not the only beach that has overflowing trash cans from time to time.

Do not blame Mexico Beach for what Walmart (30 miles away) does not carry. A seasoned beach goer will bring sandchairs and basic beach supplies from home. They know better. There are not many beaches left in Florida that have any kind of character, where the locals are friendly, and where there is plenty of room to toss a frisbie. Mexico Beach just happens to be one of them. There is always going to be the occasional, inexperienced, seasoned beach goer
that will have a bad experience. I say never let one bad opinion rob you from checking out a place where thousands come every year to visit.

Anyone knows (or maybe not) that before you commit yourself to a ten day vacation you might want to try it out for a few days first. Any bad "aire" might be from someone who just wants whine with their cheese lol. Check out Mexico Beach; you'll be glad you did. Remember to bring your chairs and your frisbee!

“Must see! Relaxing and beautiful”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

Mexico beach is one of the less traveled beaches in Florida but still has the white sands and clear waters. If you visit, I would recommend one of the townhouse rentals at Peir Point. We stayed in 105b and it was great! Easy access to the beach and peir. You can drive to PCB for your night life/shopping fix, or to Cape San Blas and St Joe Peninsula state park for more relaxation.
