this is just the vacation the wife and i needed. i found this motel on here, wow the positive comments are right on the money. we had a kitchenette everything you could ask for to have a successful meal in your room.
the owners are wonderful. and helpful they are not going to bother anything in your room. heck they don't even go into your room unless you ask them to.
we stayed for a whole week. we went right across the street and out on the beach.
its an old motel from back in the glory days of highway motels an let me tell you this one still retains plenty of its appeal, and at a great price.
mexico beach is not the place to go to play mini golf or rent gas powered scooters. this is a quiet beach town that seems to want to stay that way, which is just fine by us. we loved it. be sure to pet the motel dog blackie she is always happy for a scratching.

Room Tip: number six is in the back, one thru five are facing the beach, but ask wich ones have kitchenette if...

We have a really nice trip..the beach is across the hotel...enjoy evry single day water is nice and cool...the sand is fine and most of all its quite...No obnoxious teen screeming in the evening..We are family of 4...Me my husband and my 2 daughter. This fit our budget cause its really cheap..700ish i guess for 9 days...

We stay last memorial day...The room is ok...If your looking for luxury im telling u this is not the right place for you..The room is really for people who really stay more outside and going back to room just to sleep...

They have a small kitchen, full size bed and 2 twin size bed at the other room it also have a full size refrigerator a small table and last but not the least NO cabinet for clothes..

carpet is not so clean..better to wear sock or flip flop (for room)...
the bathroom is clean but nothing fancy ..theres another door in the bathroom for you to access the backyard...for hanging some wet clothes or if you want to grill something.

In our stay we have to request to clean the room or go to the office to request a fresh towel...

The staff is nice...

Overall, the room is so-so...but our trip is GREAT!!!!

This motel is located at a very quiet place. Location to the fantastic Mexico Beach is perfect. The beach itself is marvellous. We would say the best we have seen in Florida, and we have been to most of them.
The standard of the motel is good and the price is reasonable. Even though the 98 is just outside the front door it did not create a noise problem. The air condition system was running all night so any noise was suppressed. There was no room service and cleaning of the rooms during the four days we did stay there. You had to ask for new towels. So if you are looking for a beach walk for a couple of days, having a quite time in the evening, shopping in Panama City and not spending a lot of money on hotels this is the place for you.

Located right on highway 98 but didn't find it noisy as the traffic is light at night. Walk across the highway 100 yards and you are on miles & miles of uninterupted beautiful beach. This motel is a throw back to the 1950's but the room was completely equipped for LHK and clean. This would be a good vacation spot for a young family on a budget.

Stay away from this place.Your door and window are 20 feet away from busy hwy 98. Seedy, not clean, 1950's roadside motel. We had paid for two nights and left after spending one hour in the room. You can, sit outside on a dirty plastic chair, and watch the traffic on hwy 98.

My room had a dresser, table and chairs, air conditioner, microwave, tall mini fridge and freezer, a t.v. and a bed. The room is very small (no open floor space because of the furniture). The room was clean as was the bathroom. Outside my room there was picnic table and umbrella with a beach view. There is also a nice "porch" swing out front with a beach view. It was easy to get to and from the beach. I stayed here with my young son and had a blast. I only paid 50 bucks a night! What a deal!

One tip - Take your own comforter for the bed. I did. The ones they have are dark and old. They do not have a "beach" feel at all.
