The Brassie Grill has been a welcome addition to south Melbourne Beach. The locale is much changed since it was a beer-and-hotdog pit stop for golfers on the Aquarina Course. The Brassie Grill is open to the public and drawing a crowd from all over the area.
We eat there for lunch and dinner a couple of times a week because the prices are so reasonable and the menu offers such variety that it’s impossible to get bored with it.
Over the last year the menu has changed and improved vastly. Now extensive, it offers appetizers, a huge variety of sandwiches and salads and – the best burgers for miles around. Yes, really. Go hungry. The portions are huge. Chef Jeff has introduced mouth-watering specials on the weekends.
We recommend the Cowboy Burger, Red Tee Salad, BLT, Chicken Philly, Blackened Scallop Salad, and the Crab Cakes.
Service is friendly. Happy hour is all day. House white wine is just under $4 per glass.Top shelf liquors and premium wines are available.
You can eat at the large bar. Don’t expect club décor and white table cloths. Everything is basic but there’s a big outside seating area from which you can enjoy the sunset. Call for hours because they do change between the summer and winter season.
