Happy hour is from 5 to 7 in the lounge. The appetizers offered are not only reasonably priced but delicious too! The shrimp and scallop dish is a 10 out of 10. There is usually a pianist playing and a small dance floor to accommodate couples who wish to dance. Outside there is a fire pit and a water feature. It is always a delight to visit this establishment for a relaxing time with my wife or with friends.

We booked with Open Table. We were placed between the main restaurant and the bar area, looking west towards the Indian River and the wonderful sunset. They had someone playing the piano in the bar. There was a good selection of wines and enough to choose from in our price bracket (anything up to $60) however there were a lot of wines priced way above that - for special occasions!

We settled for beers and cocktails. The cocktail menu was mainly martini based but a great choice. I had several ( and suffered the next morning). They were all priced differently but no prices that we could see on the menu. They came in around $10 for those we had which wasn't too bad. It would be better if the prices were set out on the menu.

Our waiter was attentive and brought water and bread quickly. We weren't harassed into choosing and not left long once we had.

We started with crab rolls and baked Brie with marmalade crust - both massive but very good. We both had the filet mignon although I was pleased that there was a small size, 6oz which was enough. It was perfectly cooked and was seasoned perfectly for me. That came with a choice of salad (served between starters and main course), green beans and mashed tattles. By the time we'd finished there we couldn't manage a sweet so we settled for a couple of chocolate martins instead ( see above re suffering).

All in all a lovely meal and we hope to go back before leaving the lovely Melbourne Beach.

The staff was great. The food was average based on the price. We felt that the steaks were very over salted. The piano music was a plus.

While staying at near-by Seaglass Inn B and B, we had dinner at Djon's. Piano bar music was awesome (except for the highly-intoxicated patrons sitting (and singing VERY loudly) at it. I had the pecan parm encrusted chicken breast, which was soo yummy and my boyfriend enjoyed the filet mignon and Lobster Bisque. Trevor, our waiter was very attentive and friendly.
