For those familiar with the traditional New England clam shack, this place is a slice of heaven. It’s the only space coast area restaurant we know of that serves real Massachusetts style whole belly fried clams. We would specifically recommend it for the seafood, not necessarily salads, sandwiches and burgers which honestly we feel are done as well or better elsewhere. The food is authentic New England style, as is the restaurant with its appropriately tacky décor of nautical elements and Boston area sports memorabilia. While some may find the atmosphere somewhat crude, it is typical of many of the best hidden gems of New England. Accept it for what it is; simple, casual, rustic and pub-like.
Went with a group of 7 and everyone's seafood meals were excellent. Sweet tender fried clams and fried scallops, flakey fish & chips, delicious clam chowder, great steamers and lobster. Overall there was tremendous value for the quality and quantity of food. Non-seafood dishes were good but not exceptional. Everyone was certainly satisfied and I doubt they sell a lot of desserts here.
Service was average and sometimes rude, and I mean rude from even a Boston point of view. Had to knock some points off for that, but maybe our waitress was just having a bad day.
We would definitely return and recommend to others seeking genuine casual New England seafood.

Stopped by for lunch while out on a cycle ride. We had a large group and most were very satisfied with their meal. They did run out of the mahi-mahi and were only able to fill one order. I had the fried shrimp - they were lightly battered, fried just right, not greasy and very obviously FRESH. My husband had the burger which he stated was OK, very large, but an OK burger. Comments on other meals were basically good food, especially those who had some type of fish or seafood.

We ordered the fried seafood platter and the whole Lobster dinner which was a special the night we were there. The seafood platter was delicious, lightly fried, crispy and tasty. The lobster was also very good except alot of water remained in the plate from the cooking process. It was, however, cooked to perfection. Our server was very friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention without being annoying. The atmosphere (we ate on the outside deck) was rustic and beachy and would recommend the outside deck rather than the inside eating area which was a bit outdated and "stuffy." Overall a very good dining experience. Will definitely be back.

Appropriate seafood place for the beach. We ate on the back covered porch which was charming and airy (The inside is dark and very much a bar atmosphere).

Don't think fancy, simple approaches to all items and good values. Service was casual and friendly.
