Enjoyed lunch this past Saturday. Started with crab chowder. Very different but tasty. I think it should have had a dollop of blue crab meat on top though. The flavor of crab was there but it was too thin to be called chowder.. more like a soup. We shared an order of empanadas. They give you four large flaky pies, perfectly made! I will return for these alone. We also shared the Island Pasta. Bow tie pasta with a curry sauce. I would have preferred it with grilled shrimp instead of chicken. Large portion...we had enough for lunch the next day. I loved my key lime martini, but hubby did not like his dark stormy drink. We saved room for the fried banana dessert....amazingly good, and enough to share. Very rich but we didn't get much of the banana flavor. It was very good and I would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to another visit soon!
The owners need to give our waitress a huge raise. Sabrina was answering the phone, greeting and seating customers, mixing drinks, and waiting on all tables. She is friendly, professional, and we had excellent service. Rare to find such dedication!
