“Tea was fine Coffee could be bigger”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

We popped in for a drink whilst shopping in the area.
I had a cup of tea which was absolutely fine and my step mum had a coffee which was served in a tiny cup!
My tea was in a bigger cup than the coffee and it wasn't an expresso or anything so should really have been in a bigger mug.
Other than that it has a nice feel and the prices were average.

“Good quality home-made food”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

Recommended to us by a local. Cheerful, spaceous and slightly quirky environment. We had one of the specials for lunch: black bean and ham soup with a wrap, followed by truly excellent home-made pecan pie. All very good quality. The only thing that stops us rating this place more highly is that the coffee, including refills, was much too cool. Having said that, we find that is often the case when travelling in the US.

“Bad coffee”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

For a place that specializes in coffee, we did not care for theirs! We are not starbucks freaks or coffee snobs at all... actually like most regular coffees and espresso, but not this place.

“Great place for girl's lunch”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

This is flsurfer's wife, love this place for a girl's lunch. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed, nice place to catch up with friends. The decor is eclectic, enjoy it very much. The chicken salad is excellent, had it yesterday with walnuts, grapes, and gorgonzola over mixed greens.

“Little Downtown Melbourne Gem”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

I first stumbled on this little Gem while attending a book signing there, it has now become a go to place for my girlfriends and I, the food is organic, fresh and delicious, they also have smoothies, cold/hot coffee drinks, pastries, cakes and a board showcasing their everyday specials. You place your order at the counter, sit wherever you'd like and a friendly server brings it out to you. The ambiance feels like home; an old house with mixed mashed furniture, just love it there!!!
