Now that we live in the area, we have to travel south from Viera to go to a rock-free beach. This is the closest. There are lifeguards on duty, showers, and usually plenty of parking..unless you go around 12 or 1 on the weekends. Shaded areas and picnic tables in the parking area.

This is a great beach area with clean facilities. When toting kids to the beach a clean restroom and shower is important. We've seen sea turtles here in the summer. The only drawback is the chance of walking on the rocks in the ocean.

I like this beach. It has everything you need for a nice day at the beach. It has 5 dune crossovers, seasonal lifeguards, a food concession, and a sand volleyball court :)

Love Paradise Beach as it has lots of FREE Parking, Play ground for the kids, LIFE Guards on Duty 9-5 and Clean Restrooms open 8 am to 8 pm. Food Truck and chair/Umbrella rentals. I live .6 miles and Love this Beach. Sand, shells and Turtles (when in season). Best Beach for Locals and visitors - Never overly crowded, always plenty of room. Enjoy the Sun and Relax for hours. One of the many reasons I moved to the area was for the access to the beach and the surrounding businesses.
