I had been wanting to try the Mansion for the past year, but never quite made it happen until yesterday. The size of the place was impressive and replete with many options for seating including a second story deck that overlooks the intercoastal waterway. The soup was very good...a black bean puree with succulent chunks of pork loin. It was lukewarm in temperature, but quite tasty. Our burgers were good, but as another reviewer pointed out...I was very disappointed that a restaurant of this ilk didn't take the time to offer a better quality french fry. I hope they will consider switching to a hand-cut potato of some sort. The service was SPECTACULAR! Ashley was all smiles from beginning to end. She was helpful, informative, and genuinely kind. I would try the Mansion again in the future, but I probably would elect for something other than burger and fries next time around.
