“Brevard Zoo..is a must do!”

Brevard Zoo is one of those GOTTA DO half day adventures you & your family will never forget!
Wanna get a 'little wild" ? Feed a Giraffe by hand while a Rhino snorts in the background. Watch hungry Alligators await feeding when you walk past them overhead
After watching the Otters splash about in their cool waterfall, ... how bout you let the kids splash bout in their own pool to cool off! (no swim suits needed, but bring a towel).
Wives, if you think Dad is, or might bored while the kids are swimming,.try convincing him to take on the Zip line,..an X Marine personally told me it was a 'b' buster.. and local EMT's have proven so...

20 years ago, residents of Melbourne were asked to volunteer their time, tools and experience to build a local Zoo. Proudly & enthusiastically, we proudly did, in fact you will see our original hand prints in the bricks and walkways as you adventure through.
Each year since, Brevard Zoo has surpassed itself, and done our community proud.
It has physically built multiple new wings to accommodate their wildlife residents from South America, Africa, Asia and Australia to suit them.
Brevard Zoo is simply the best place to visit and spend as much time as you wish!

“Wonderful small zoo”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Great family entertainment. We have annual family passes for years and go frequently. A new meerkat exhibit is great viewing. There is a water play area with one part set aside for toddlers. The children love it.

“Really good small zoo”
Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

We had a really good time. Feeding the giraffe was the best. Thought it was a little expensive especially for the size. Want to go back and to treetop trek and see meerkats but probably not anytime soon because of price. I've been to zoos all over country and a lot are bigger and less expensive.

“Great, small zoo!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

It's a small zoo, but there is a lot to do for kids (or adults) of all ages. If you go on a nice day make sure to bring the kids swim suits. They have a small pool area (think splashing, not swimming) that the kids love. They don't necessarily need a swim suit, but if you don't bring a towel it'll cost you about $30 in the gift shop and a swim diaper another $3. Look online at the prices because if you plan to go more than once (or even not) it may be cheaper to get an annual pass. Comes with extras such as guest passes, train rides and kayak trips. Also gets you free/reduced admission to zoos around the country.
