This is a beautiful Zoo. It has the best children's area of any zoo I have ever visited. My family loves to visit Brevard Zoo...

“Great zoo”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

We were not necessarily encouraged to attend the zoo; our St. Louis Zoo is free. But, we decided we wanted to see it anyway. We loved It!!! It was well worth the $16 fee. You get to interact with the animals (pet and feed giraffes, birds, deer) and are close up to most of the animals. We went in January and it was not very crowded (to our advantage). You can kayak and zipline also at certain times of the year!

“Great zoo for kids of all ages”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

The zoo is fantastic. Don't miss out on feeding the giraffes. If you have time, the tree-top adventure is a must do! You have to be in moderately good shape to complete it. But if you are, it's worth the exertion. The obstacles and climbing are a lot of fun, and the zip lines top off an excellent day!

“Outstanding Local Zoo!”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

This a great zoo, that easily exceeds most guests expectations. While it is smaller than many zoos that are far more well-known, it is the perfect zoo for this community. In fact, the incredible support from the local community is a critical component to its success. Guests get a chance to experience the animals close-up in a very natural setting. This is a fantastic place to take children.

“Nice Zoo! Woody surroundings!”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

Only had 2 hours to see the Zoo. I suggest at least 3 or more so you can go through it a couple times. The animals change there positions and have different feeding times and presentations. I saw the Gators & Crocks get fed, unfortunately they feed them pellets thrown in the water as opposed to the usual raw chicken dangled to jumping Gators. The petting Zoo closed at 4 so I didn't get to pet the alpacas or other animals. (:-( they were very cute! I only got to see the 6 Giraffes go into their Barn from a very long distance away, and the two babies are what I really came to see. It was almost 20 miles from the beach hotel where I was staying. It's located next to I-95 so you might want to schedule your visit on the way in or out of town. Nice selection of reasonably priced food and sweets. New Mercat enclosure opening soon. $16.00's was reasonable and you can get $1.00 off person if bring in the coupons located on brochures and flyers at Hotels.
