“Better than expected”

We live close to the zoo and are originally from NY and are used to a big zoo like the Bronx Zoo so we were skeptical. We were pleasantly surprised by how many animals they had and the different species. Would recommend going.

“Love this Zoo!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

See animals up close and enjoy the leisure boardwalk through awesome vegetation. Very Clean, Informative, and such a pleasure to experience, my wife and myself bought a yearly membership and have returned twice since.

“Wonderful little zoo”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

What a wonderful little zoo! We had a great time there. We bought a combination ticket which included feeding the birds and the giraffes. What fun! The zoo has a high pavilion for giraffe viewing and feeding. If you haven't bought a combination ticket you can still buy giraffe crackers to feed them which they obviously love. This is one of the highlights of the zoo. Our combination ticket also included bird feeding which was great fun too. You are given a cup of nectar which the lorakeets love. They fly right to you, land on your shoulder, hand, arm...wherever and enjoy the nectar. Again, the bird nectar can be purchased separately, like the giraffe crackers. The combination ticket also included a kayak tour of the zoo. A short 1/2 guided trip around a placid stream within the zoo and right past many of the animals. The combo ticket cost us $21.50 per person. For me, money well spent. There is also a separate zip line / elevated adventure walk through the zoo.

“So Much Fun!”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

This is a great place to see lots of animals and have a great time doing it! The boardwalk and the bird feeding are my two 'must do' items every time I go. I also love the giraffe overlook! If you havent been, you are missing out!

“Good day trip”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

This zoo has very nice walkways....easy to walk around. Some areas are above some animal enclosures , which gives you better viewing , such as the cheetas and rhinos. They have an awesome amount of unique birds .They have an enclosure where you go in and feed the colorful lorakeets. Buy a cup of nectar and they fly right on you . There is a kayak tour , which is nice .(Didn't do it this time....but have before and enjoyed it). They have a pair of beautiful cheetas.
Everything was clean and neat. The people are friendly. They have ziplines. A place to eat near a flamingo pond is nice. Lots of photo opportunities. Lots of parking. Nice gift shop. A nice place to spend the day.Enjoyed it a lot.
