We were so interested to see the site of the historic Yalta conference with so many interesting photos. YOu can see the room FDR slept in. The architecture is also interesting. Grounds are beautiful. Mobbed with tour groups.

“Historically interesting palace”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This palace was used for the Yalta conference in 1945 when Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin met to determine the future shape of post war Europe and to consider the creation of the United Nations organisation. For anyone interested in history this alone would be enough but of course the palace also contains much relating to the last days of Imperial Russia, due to it being used by Tsar Nicholas II as his summer residence. Naturally the rooms are sumptuous, the gardens beutiful and there are many photographs of the conference. One can actually touch the table when the leaders sat when negotiating. Well worth a visit.
