It is an interesting concept to design a dining room around Mozart. The ambiance was pleasant.
The food is Austrian / German style. But we thought we could recreate much of the experience at home and a trip to a well stocked grocery store.
One reviewer said don't expect an experience typical of this style as found in better restaurants in Chicago or Milwaukee - that person was soooo right. I didn't get the feeling that chef made the sausages, spaetzle, etc.. We noticed the goulash sauce did not have a hint of a reduced wine character. Tasted more institutional.
Many of the wines ( including their 1 Austrian offering ) were not available. The wine list was very limited to begin with.
With the chef's pedigree, we were hoping for more.
It's wasn't a bad experience and the people are very nice, it's just wasn't a memorable experience.
