We first went to Fin's when it was newly opened and loved it. The food was exceptional and the service great. Not a large or showy restaurant, but it's the food that counts. The only problem is that others have found it and realise what a great place it is for foodies, so much so, that we couldn't get in the next few times we tried. You now need to book, and even then sometimes wait for your table.
We did get in this weekend though but at 8:30pm, which may be late for some. We still had to wait 30 minutes as they were running behind, but had fun chatting at the tables outside with Prosecco and beer with the other clientele waiting, most were celebrating their wedding anniversaries.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive and answered all my questions for a gluten free diet. The food was fresh and just as good, if not better, than I remembered it.
I'm not surprised it's been named #1 restaurant on the island, but wished it had remained a secret a little longer!
