We had a great time on these cool little boats. Very easy to drive and maneuver. The sites were beautiful and so was the weather. This was a nature tour and fun in the sun! I even got out and went swimming. Lisa our guide was a delight and showed us a great time. I highly recommend this tour its like nothing else you will do.

“Expected more”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Although we enjoyed the CraigCat experience, we would have liked to learn about some of the vegetation and wildlife. We realize being on a CC is not conducive to conversation but our tour was very small with only the guide and two other CCs. Our guide did not speak of any of the surroundings except that he hoped we would see some dolphins. Since the tour is three hours long maybe a shorter route could be taken so that some of the many interesting sites could be elaborated on a bit.

We so appreciated your feed back on TripAdvisor. We pride ourselves on making sure you get the best tour possible. That being said you are correct, we are a very intimate tour and do not take more then three boats at any one time (unless it is for all one group). We have been told that part of the fun is driving and controlling your very own boat, so it is difficult to have conversation other then with the person sitting next to you. We will stop at any time so you can take pictures or to ask questions from any of our knowledgeable guilds. Please, next time you are in town e-mail me at Backwateradventure@gmail.com so we can try again. Thank you again for your feed back.

Great way to get on the water and do some exploring in places you would never go on your own. Craigcats are easy to drive and a fun way to get around. Highly recommended!!

“Totally worth it!”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

We read about this tour in the local magazine and thought it sounded fun. We went on a Thursday morning, and ended up getting a private tour! Lisa was a really great guide. She took us through the mangroves, as well as the open water, and can tell you all about the wildlife. We saw several dolphins and lots of birds. The 2-person Craig Cat, on which the tour is given, provides a fantastic vantage point which you cannot experience by any other means. Because you are seated side-by-side, your view is not obstructed as it is for the passenger on a jet ski. You'll get a bit wet, so a bathing suit is recommended. Also, the tour is about 3.5 hours, so make sure you wear your sunscreen. I would also highly recommend wearing a hat to protect your scalp/head from getting sunburned. This was definitely our most favorite activity during our vacation!

“I Would Go Again!”

Awesome adventure! Lisa made us feel extremely comfortable, and she is very knowledgeable. The Craig Cat is easy and fun to drive, plus makes the trip up close and personal! If you love the water and love nature, this is a must do. Dolphins, ospreys, egrets, we even saw a cardinal bird! The scenery is gorgeous through the 10,000 Islands. An unforgettable trip!
