Anita and I have been fortunate to have traveled a good bit. We usually try to experience different, off the beaten path adventures. This qualifies. We are avid boaters and have been on most types of boats. The Craig Cat is unique. It handles better and easier than any craft it's size and at the same time is incredibly comfortable. The trip itself was everything we expected and more. Guiding this unique boat through the backwater channels was a treat. We could imagine ourselves in a James Bond adventure...it's that cool. We can't say enough about Captain Doug. If you enjoy the outdoors and want to try something exciting and different, don't miss this one.

We really enjoyed our 3 hour trip. Driving your own catamaran gives you a sense of independence and privacy that you don't have on group tours, yet you had the expertise of a guide. This was so laid back and pleasant. The best part of the day was drifting among a large pod of dolphins as they played around us. We have already recommended this trip to friends.

Had a fun time, loved the idea that you get to drive the catamaran yourself and it was so easy to operate. You are in constant contact with the tour guide through walkie-talkies and he was very knowledgeable of the area. The mangrove tunnel was fascinating although on this particular day the wildlife was not abundant but that was offset by the over abundance of dolphins we got to see. Bring your camera because you will want to get pictures of these magnificent creatures. Other suggestions include: hat/head covering, sunglasses, sunscreen, and something to drink (every boat has it's own cooler) . The trip was advertised as a 3 hour tour but was closer to 4 hours, it is refreshing to know that in these times of cutbacks that you actually get more than advertised.

These boats are a blast and well worth the money. We took the Deluxe tour which included lunch at the Little Bar, the food was great. We saw tons of dolphine, stopped on our own island, drove though mangrove tunnels, Captain Doug was a great host.
