We ate breakfast here on 10 mornings while staying on Marco Island. Consistently well prepared and tasty breakfast. The staff is very friendly. They take your order at the counter and then deliver your food to the table you have chosen. I found this very efficient. You can immediately get your beverages & not wait for a waiter. Food is ready in a very short time. Reasonable breakfast prices.

Nice staff, and wonderful homemade food with daily specials. We have eaten there several times around dinner a d never a wait, which is much different than other nearby restaurants. Fair prices too.

For years we have passed this place and never stopped in mostly because it always looked closed. The place looks somewhat upscale from the outside yet there are usually no cars in the parking lot which seemed odd.

It is a family business with the husband’s connection to Michigan State University on display via a couple signs. The interior also looks upscale, but the longer you are there you will realize it is a causal place complete with plastic dishes and plates. Note that there is no table service, so you need to order at the counter. The dinner menu is displayed on a large TV as you walk in however there is a printed breakfast and lunch menu at the counter. The one we looked at was in really been shape and should have been thrown out a long time ago. Why would you have a customer order from a cruddy menu? There is no upside.

For dinner we ordered the chicken piccata ($13) and the chicken marsala ($14). Both come with linguine and one side. We opted for a wedge salad and a Caesar salad. The wedge salad was literally one small wedge of iceberg and nothing else other than dressing! That was a first for me. The Caesar salad was very good. Both chicken dishes had one piece of thin boneless chicken which was tender. The marsala sauce was more a brown gravy than a marsala wine sauce. The chicken piccata was very good
.
We also got two sandwiches to go for lunch the next day. Before I ordered my sandwich, I asked if their pastrami was beef brisket or beef round and they did not know. The owner gave me slice to try and it was round which is very salty and rubbery. A cheap commercial product which is what most places across the US serve you. Their Hoboken is pastrami and the Stonewall is a combination of corned beef and pastrami. I would guess the corned beef is also made from beef round and very salty. Real deal corned beef and pastrami is made from brisket. So, we opted for a chicken Caesar wrap ($10) and the Italian ($10) sandwich. Both come with a side, which for us was coleslaw. The Caesar wrap was good however the Italian sandwich was not. It was lacking a lot of anything on a small 5-6” roll. Traces of lettuce and minimal meat products. Also, you never put chunks of onion on an Italian sandwich which they did. That is a personal foul! The coleslaw was average. $10 for that sandwich was a rip off.

Note they advertise “Fine Food Fast” but that was not the case. The entrees were slow to arrive and the Italian sandwich was not fine.

To start, one star is because 5 of us ate dinner for $100, including tip. A refreshing break on the pocketbook.

It's a bit different. It has a nice dining room, but you order your food before sitting. They have a good selection of sandwiches, flatbreads, pizza, entrees and specials. Most in the $10-$15 range. It's not the place to go for local fare, but it made for a nice midweek break from the other seafood-heavy options in the area.

Three of us had the lobster ravioli special. It was good. The raviolis were properly cooked and the filling was mainly cheese with enough lobster to give it a good flavor. It was under a tangy creamy tomato sauce and served with a small, run of the mill slice of baguette.

The white pizza had a nice, chewy crust with a couple of kinds of cheese. The meatloaf consisted of two decent-sized pieces and mashed potatoes, both covered in a tasty mushroom gravy.

The only thing lacking were the salads. The house salad was a small plate of mixed greens with a few other veggies. The lettuce wedge was correctly named. Just a wedge of lettuce. The blue cheese dressing appeared house-made, but seemed to be mainly mayonnaise with the smallest flecks of blue cheese. Also lacking was the mimosa. A small glass of champagne and a plastic cup of the peach "juice" from the beverage dispenser on the side.

Overall though, it was pretty good food at the right price.
