We came to Marco island for a short get away to celebrate our city's mayor going to jail for 28 years. The marriott is very nice and a very good location. It is about an hour from Fort Myers airport and the transports are somewhat pricey. The beach is very beautiful with many things to keep a family busy. We signed up for the golf package and the course was in very good shape and the people couldn't be friendlier. The bed was a bit soft but the rooms were nice.
This is a fantastic hotel and resort. The accommodations are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff is EXCEPTIONALLY good. If you like relaxing by the pool or the beach...you can't miss here. Can't wait for a return visit!
After a bit of a rocky start we ended up having a very nice two night stay at the Marco Island Marriott. Upon check in we were given a room with two double beds instead of a king bed. We had to repeatedly call and cajole to get a king-we were told there were no king rooms available but one was miraculously found.
We stayed at the hotel for a business function. I highly recommend the hotel for any business function. The staff was highly professional and the food and service were outstanding. Everything was done right! The trips that were arranged for our group were great.
The hotel amenities were very nice. The beach is beautiful and the pool area is very nice. The staff brought around cold towels, smoothies and ice pops for all people at the pool. All were very nice touches. The entire staff at the hotel were very friendly and everyone would say hello. The resort is very clean and well cared for.
The hotel is very large and you can find plenty of pkaces to hang out. The rooms are spacious and clean and they all seem to have a small balcony area.
We only have two negatives. First, the bathroom set up is strange and small. The toilet and tub/shower are located together in a very small room. The sink is outside in a hall area. The sink area is quite small and there is only one sink. It was difficult to have two people getting ready at the same time due to the quirkiness of the set up. The second negative is a charge that we received. We had shipped our golf clubs to the hotel via fed ex. The hotel charged us over $25 to receive our clubs. We have never seen a charge like this. It seems a little petty to charge a customer to receive a package.
Other than these two items, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Marco Island. It is great for couples and would be perfect for families.
We loved, loved, loved this property! It's so family friendly yet could be such a romantic getaway should we have been without kids!
The food on site was good - not amazing - just good! I am a foodie so I love really cool cuisine, but the view off the Cheekee Hut we rented for a day was worth every little tiny bit we gave up in "food coolness."
The staff was so friendly everywhere we went - housekeeping, check in staff, valet, restaurants and bars.
We will be back!

great location, very accomondating staff and great restaurants and the service at Quinns especially the Markett brothers exceeded all that was expected. clean pool well groomed beaches and very clean throughout the whole complex.

We recently hosted the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Married Couples Retreat at this hotel, utilizing the majority of the hotel sleeping rooms and conference space. Never before have we had such overwhelming positive reviews of a resort and particularly it's staff. The service is second to none the best Marriott service we have received and I would recommend this hotel for both business or leisure. Every room has a great balcony, most every room has some type of view and the resort, pools, beaches, restaurants and other guest areas are all perfectly maintained. We will most definitely be returning!
