The location is great, right on the beach. There are at least 3 pools & 1 in the spa area for spa people only. The inside has been remodeled. We self parked across the street for $13.00 a day. We were upgraded to a Lanai Suite. It was pretty fabulous, two bathrooms, two full closets, french doors between the bedroom & living room, a sunken tub for two, nice glass shower. There's a good size fridge, microwave. The coffee pot obviously hadn't been used in awhile as there were spiders living in it. Great balcony with stairs leading right to the beach. On the negative side, the beach had corporate dinners & events going on all day & night so we never felt we had privacy on our balcony. The beach is beautiful with lots of wonderful seashells that wash up every morning. The beach in the morning is full of walkers & joggers & cool sea birds. There are a few restaurants, a spa, a few shops. Its in a very safe area & close to a downtown area. The staff were friendly & helpful.

Room Tip: Beach view

We love this hotel and visit at least twice a year. It has a beautiful huge beach, the rooms are gorgeous and large, the staff is friendly and the pool area is breathtaking. Quinns on the beach has a great view (great for sunsets). The spa is pricey but the resort itself can't be beat! Marco Island itself is beautiful with plenty of shopping - don't miss Snook Inn for lunch...not the best food but it is right on the bay and you can watch the dolphins play.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the gulf for a better view altho most of the rooms have a gulf view - rent a cab...

3rd year in a row we stayed there. Great experience before that makes us come again. This time disappointing. Great location and beach. Friendly people. Very expensive rooms and in bad condition. Bathroom leaking out, never fixed. Tv not working offered 50 dollars instead of fixing it. Had to call all the time for shampoo, shower cups.
They need to renovate it. We are not going again

This was the most beautiful resort that I have ever stayed in. I was treated to an amazingly huge, updated and upscale suite. I was truly treated as though I was a queen by every friendly staff member that crosses my path. I would HIGHLY recommend both the amazing spa (massage therapist Tony was wonderful and Angela was extremely sweet and helpful) and this beautiful resort.

Great service, Ocean View are spectacular. The food a little pricey for the Menu however you get what you pay for. Lots of activities for the young@heart ;)

Centrally located on the island and plenty of shopping and restaurants, I would stay away from the overpriced Hotel Spa. My wife and I opted to instead visit Angel Nails and Span great value for the service provided!!

Room Tip: Ask for Ocean or partial Ocean view

My third stay at this resort. Consistently good. Rooms have never been ready before 4pm... and most of the time it's been much later - so plan accordingly. Staff are nice. Rooms are pretty and clean. Bedding very comfortable. Their restaurant 'Quinn's on the Beach' makes excellent food and is reasonably priced. Try the grouper sandwich, it's wonderful. This hotel is appropriate for families as well as couples on a romantic getaway.

I do wish they treated Marriott Elite members a little better. Maybe a perk or something (aside from free internet) since there is no Concierge Lounge where you get free breakfast, appetizers, dessert and waters. Normally, you get free breakfast vouchers on weekdays when their is no concierge lounge at a Marriott. Their excuse was that they don't 'participate' in that program. Gimme a break. Also, parking was a pain in the neck. The walkway from the front of the hotel is very steep... (be mindful of this if you have elderly folks in your party) and crossing the busy street to get to the lot could be dangerous. Still a very nice resort. Despite my fairly insignificant complaints, I do really like this place and would definitely return again.

We really enjoyed Marco Island as it is clean and easy to navigate. The Marriott property clearly offers the best ocean front space. No need to even leave the resort. For vegetarians we highly recommend eating at Quinn's and order the black bean and quinoa burger.

Room Tip: Most rooms offer a view of the ocean
