Reviewed July 14, 2009

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The rooms were perfect, very nice and clean.
The pool and beach area great. Never too crowded.
The whole family had a great time.

We arrived at the Hilton Sunday July 5th.The front desk clerk welcomed us & told us we had been upgraded to a Gulf View room. There were four of us we had requested rooms near each other. He told us our rooms could be next door or if we wanted to move to a higher floor they would be on opposite ends of the hall, he suggested the higher floor for better views. We were so excited. In all of my travels I have never been given a free room upgrade. Our rooms were ready so off we went. We had room 611 our friends had 625. What a view! We over looked the pool & had endless views of the Gulf. The room was large, with a sofa, chair & ottoman, desk, armour, dresser & flat screen tv. One vanity in the bath & one on the outside. This was a great feature for 2 women getting ready at the same time! We had a small refrig, coffee maker, iron, ironing board & blo-dryer. This room was the nicest room I have ever stayed in. Have been to Paradise Island's Atlantis the room at the Hilton was far superior.
Shopping & restraunts right across the street.
We ate a Joeys, loved the pizza. Snook Inn was another favorite. CJ's on the Bay was good & they have a big outdoor bar & entertainment. We did some dancing, but it was so hot. We also liked Cathy O'Clarkes which is right across the street from the Hilton. Kokomos was great for lunch.
All in all we loved the Hilton! Wouldn't even think of staying any place else in Marco Island!

Stayed for 6 Nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Arrived 7/14 and got settled in to a room overlooking the Gulf & the pool (rm 615 - great view) . Breakfast each morning in the hotel cafe, great buffet. Had some meals by the pool and dinner once in the cafe and room service. Food was great, cafe service was slow, all other service great. Fridge in room was convenient. Rented an umbrella (chairs provided) for $18 all day and $11 after 1pm. Beach was rough on the feet, lots of shells but clean. Beach bar had a drink runner that patrolled the umbrellas. My wife used the Spa and was very pleased. Great Hilton stay that I am used to. Rented a car and explored the Island a bit. Not necessary though; 7-11 across the street and a super Mexican restaurant also an Italian place, bar, movie theater in same complex across the street drinks and food in the theater was a cool relief one afternoon. Great couples get away, will likely return with the kids!

Booked a Gulf View junior suite which the description stated had spectacular views of the Gulf . Our room was on the south side and had excellent views of the hotel adjacent and a very limted view of the Gulf . If booking try for the north side and you will have excellent views which the manager admitted , but stated was twice the cost

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hilton from June 17th - June 20th. We had a great rate of $145 per night and that included the full breakfast buffet for both of us each day ($20 per person normally). We had a very nice room on the 10th floor very close to the beach end of the hotel. Although we had a very pretty view, if we had been on the opposite side of the hall we would have had a better view up the beach and over the pool. Hey, it was still a great view, so no use complaining. Nicely appointed room with quality fixtures and an extra vanity outside of the bathroom. The room had lots of drawers and storage areas. It also had a couch, 2 chairs, one ottoman and a desk and chair. There was also a small fridge and a flat panel TV. The A/C kept things cool although it seemed to stop one night and we had to reset it. The linens, bed, and pillows were fantastic. There was an ice machine and a pop machine at the end of the hall. Pop was only $1.50 for a 20oz bottle.

I was hoping to stay at the Marriott but it was $150 more per night and it didn't include breakfast. The Hilton was too good a deal to pass up and we were really pleased with what we received.

The lobby bar was nice, we had a smoked turkey quesadilla before sunset one evening and it was tasty. The burger was ok at the pool bar after our wave runner tour and my girlfriend’s chicken tenders were decent. The breakfasts though were very good. The list price of the buffet ($20) might sound a little steep, but you get fresh OJ, Coffee, made to order omelets and waffles, plus great fresh fruit, Danish, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and lots of other things. They have a really nice screened in porch type area that you can eat outside as well. Since it was included in our rate it made it all the better!

We then did the Jet Ski tour of the islands from the people at the Hilton. They did a very nice job. It was $135 for each of us (after a $10 rate reduction for being guests of the Hilton) and we each took our own wave runner. We had a great time. I got a good bit of sun on my shoulders, but we saw some wildlife and got to zip around the gulf and troll through the mangroves. The guide was very nice.

The pool area at the Hilton is very nice although they really cram the loungers in and make it difficult to get into. Most of them you can't walk in between them. You have to sit and slide back into them. They had the same soundtrack on for the 3 days that we are there. Maybe some satellite radio or something? Or at least mix up the Cds!

Again, we found the Hilton offered a great value with a reasonable rate, good service and rooms, and a great location. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

First time visiting Marco Island and was very impressed with this hotel. Stayed here Thursday-Sunday. Pool and beach were beautiful! Stayed at this property through an RCI timeshare presentation. Checking in was a little hairy, they did not have us in their computer system, but they worked it out eventually. Except for one snooty Front Desk manager, every staff member we met was extremely helpful and pleasant. The area is a little pricey if you haven't stayed here before, but I guess it's to be expected in general. Self Parking is $10.00/day. Beach umbrella's are $24.00/day or you can rent after 1:00pm for half a day. The area is easy to get around and other than the Marriott a few doors down, this is really the only hotel chain on the beach. Other properties must be condos or timeshare properties. Would highly recommend and would go back in a second if/when I have a chance to.
