This hotel was amazing. The nicest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced. Good shopping, great restaurants, and the pool was beautiful. We will certainly plan another visit and I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Marco Island.

I am a Hilton Gold member so I stay in many Hilton properties all over the country. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is beautiful...right on the Gulf of Mexico....excellent staff....fantastic room with Gulf view....beautiful breakfast restaurant with outdoor Gulf view seating.....etc....etc...etc.! We can't wait to return.

The Hilton Marco Island is one of many tower blocks on the beach. We have stayed at this hotel a year ago, so we exactly knew which kind of room we were focusing on: gulf and sunset view, as far in front as possible. We arrived early and had to wait a short time until our assigned room was ready. No problem, as the beach for a walk is just a step away. The "November-sunset" rooms are located above the tennis court. The court looks worn and not very inviting. That may be the reason why no one was playing tennis and we didn't encounter any noise. The shortly refurbished jr. suite was large and comfortable with a sliding door to the small balcony. There's a sitting area with sofa and coffee table, a small workdesk with office chair. At night the lighting creates a cosy atmosphere. The bath/shower room is small plus an anteroom with an additional sink.
Also coffee maker, fridge, safe and flat tv, not to forget: a small bag with cleaned sea shells to take home as souvenir. In room internet has to be paid for, except you're hhonor member.
Self parking costs extra (for all).
The pool area is equipped with many sunbeds, very dense to each other. Will be crowded on a warm day.
We enjoyed the reasonable priced early bird Sunset Dinner Menu at the Paradise Cafe.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. In addition to two queen beds, we were pleasantly surprised to find a queen size pull out sofa bed in the room as well which made sleeping arrangements far more comfortable for our family of four. Parking is very easy with a choice of valet or self park. While I don't like paying for parking anywhere, it does seem to be the norm at hotels these days and this hotel was a reasonable $10 per day for self park. Self park was immediately in front of the hotel so I am not sure why anyone would pay extra $ for valet unless walking the 100 feet to self park was a hardship. The location was terrific with a lovely shopping/dining out door plaza right across the street. While we were there chairs poolside seemed plentiful and chairs on the beach are placed wherever you want them. It is nice to tip the beach staff as they do carry the chairs anywhere you choose. One little hiccup was at 6:00pm one evening they beach staff asked us to vacate our chairs as they were cleaning up the beach where the day before at the same time the beach staff assured us they were only picking empty loungers and we were free to stay in our chairs as long as we wanted. As we like to go to the beach in the late afternoon, we didn't care for having to give up our chairs at 6:00pm and it seemed inconsistent that one day we could stay and the next we couldn't. Hilton should probably review their policy on this with the staff. That is the only tiny thing I can complain about regarding this hotel as everything else was terrific!

Room Tip: Pool view would be a nicer view than tennis court view.

Pros: I would also highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful staff and superb location. Right across the street from shopping and restaurants. The rooms were redone in the last couple of years and are fantastic. I've stayed at the Marriott as well but this will be my family's hotel on Marco Island going forward. The pool guy was awesome! I think his name was Bud. He really takes care of his guests and yes, it makes a difference. When I looked at the aerial photos I was concerned that there was a long boardwalk to the beach. This really turned out to be a non issue as the boardwalk is not very long and its easier to walk over a boardwalk then walk over sand anyway (the takeaway is that the beach is wonderful and that is what matters).

Cons: When more Travelers figure out how nice this place is for the price, the rates will go up.

Room Tip: Great views from almost every room.

While the weather was a bit cold and windy, not the hotel's fault, we enjoyed our stay. The staff is extremely pleasant, really go out-of-their-way ensure you enjoy your stay. We opted for the breakfast buffet, and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and the quality. Rooms were very spacious,, clean and well-appointed. Didn't really like the pillows. The beach is lovely. Would highly recommend.

We loved this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights/5days. 2 adults and 2 young kids. The hotel is very clean. Best of all, it is not too big of a facility and not too small - just the right size where you get enough attention and don't get lost in the crowd. The staff is super nice. The hotel has a couple of walkways to the beach - it is right off the beach. At the beach, you can get free chairs but have to pay for the umbrella - ~$18/day. Which is not too bad. You can pick up towels at the pool cabana and you are all set. They do run frequent drink service to the beach so you can have a pretty nice peaceful day at the beach. We got free breakfast vouchers because of Hilton status which was very nice and convenient. Without the vouchers, there are plenty of places around the hotel for breakfast. Overall, this is a great hotel. Some reviewers thought it was a little dated, but they have upgraded nicely since then. We found the hotel and furnishings to be very nice and current. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: The hotel has 2 sides - pool facing and gulf facing. Both sides don't face the ocean directly...
