“Wonderful Hotel”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Marco Island for our 2 year anniversary. We live in Charlotte, NC and wanted something different from the beaches on the North and South Carolina coast. The Hilton was wonderful. We ended up arriving a few hours before the usual check in time and they accommodated us with no extra charge or issues to check in early. The room was newly renovated. Very clean and beautiful. The shower was AWESOME. Unfortunately the weather was horrible the entire 4 days we were there. It rained the entire time so we spent quite a bit of our vacation in the hotel so we were thankful it was so nice. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We asked a parking lot attendant what she suggested for a good breakfast place and she suggested NeNe's which we ended up going to twice since it was so amazing. There were only 2 small things that were somewhat negative... 1- the jets in the hottub were broken the whole time- the staff were aware and trying to fix the issue but it wasn't resolved during our stay. 2- the AC in the room seemed pretty weak. it wasn't very cool even at 72 and turning it down even lower didn't help. Those were very minor issues though. I would suggest this hotel to anyone.

We've just returned from our trip to Florida and the highlight of our holiday was for sure our stay at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort. It's such a beautiful hotel!
The staff is attentive, the rooms are spacious and luxurious and the view from the balcony (sea side) was priceless. We enjoyed watching sunsets there. The one thing that I didn't like with regards to the room was the size of the bathroom. For me, it doesn't make sense that such a large room has such a small bathroom. The bath therefore was very small too. I "enjoyed" the bath just one night and didn't care to make use of it another time, since the water nearly reached my belly and I couldn't even stretch fully and I'm only 5.4 ft.
The swimmingpool is very nice, has enough sun beds and is very child friendly. The beach is right by the hotel and the hotel offers free sun beds. You have to pay $ 10 in case you want to use a parasol.
The parking lot is guarded and there is enough space. You pay $ 10 per night.
Across from the hotel is a small shopping/restaurant area where you can enjoy different restaurants, an ice cream shop (good ice!), a cinema (which ought to be very nice, although we didn't make use of it) and some shops.
The hotel itself has some restaurants as well, but since we didn't eat there I cannot comment on these. There is also a coffee shop in the hotel where they serve Starbucks.
Would I stay here again? Most definitely!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for a room with sea view. It is well worth your money!

The entire experience is wonderfully relaxing! The pool area is popular and tempting. The beach is always clean and inviting with great shelling opportunities. Plenty of dining choices and a great movie theater across the street.

Our junior ste. on the ninth floor was gorgeous. If the noise from the elevators hadn't been annoying, and the air conditioning had been more affective, it could have been much better. I would also have to mention the lawn people were up and at em at eight A.M. Under our balcony. So loud we could not enjoy our beautiful view of the Gulf and read the paper outside. Had to go in. Might as well have been home.

We stayed 6 nights with 3 adults and a 2 year old. The hotel was clean and well-appointed. Staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was very responsive. Pool area was clean and well-maintained. Beach was easily accessible and the shell-washing stations were thoughtful and helped minimize bringing sand back to the rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious. For us, a microwave in the room or some sort of mini-kitchen would have been helpful. There is only a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Room service was helpful - they brought up utensils soon after asking, when we didn't have any for our take-out. The location of the hotel is good, close to everything. We were on the 6th floor and had a great view overlooking the pool area and the coast. The rooms were quiet - we did not hear neighbors or anyone in the hall and our daughter was able to nap easily. Housekeeping was also very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 622 - good and in the middle, a little far from the closest elevator to the beach...

We stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times and most recently in June, 2013. While I didn't mind the 300 a nite plus 30 tax for the gulf view suite I found the $10.00 tiki bar drinks and $15.00 Cobb salad a little extreme. We spent the same at a very very nice local spot for dinner on the bay with appetizers, drinks, dinner and dessert as we did for wings and a burger at the hotel pool. The chairs and towels are free but if you want an umbrella is $18.00 for the day. The seafood Buffett is way overrated and the service is hit and miss. We left our room at 10 the first day and returned at 3 and was still not cleaned. We received 3 phone calls on the second day wanting access to our room all before 11----I will look around next time but the location and the view is great. The newly furnished suite is ok-- we stayed in the old one and some things are better some are not---

Staying here for the moment, what can I say? Basically nothing, rooms have been refurbished since my last stay. I just love it here!!!! Was reading an earlier comment by someone... pool is cramped? Beach is cramped? He or she should go to an inhabited island if you ask me... This is truly the best place to stay on Marco Island and obviously I'll be back!!!!
