My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Hilton in Marco Island. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we truly enjoyed it. We got a Junior suite on the 9th floor with a gulf view. The rooms are spacious, and the view is expectacular. The service is great and the staff is always polite and accommodating. The hotel is nicely decorated with orchids and tropical plants throughout the hotel. It has a pool area, Paradise Café, a Spa, Sandcastle lounge and Restaurant, and it’s on the beach. The Friday night seafood buffet at Paradise is excellent. You have to pay for parking, breakfast is not included, and like every hotel you have to pay for lounge chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast is available at the Paradise Café or you can grab a cup of coffee at their Starbuck’s stand with muffins and danish. You can also drive 2 minutes down the street and have breakfast at Nene at a reasonable price.

Great places to eat are Mango’s Dockside Bistro at the Esplanade only a 5 minute drive off Collier Blvd. They have a great waiter Herry who can provide you with popular dishes and is very attentive. Their grouper is excellent. There’s also the Fish House in the Isles of Capri about an 8 minute drive. It’s on the water and very casual. Another place where the locals go is Stans for simple dishes but lots of fun and some entertainment in Goudland about an 8 minute drive from the hotel. We definitely would go back to Marco Island and stay at the Hilton.

Room Tip: Get a suite on the 9th floor or higher for good ocean view.

We had a great stay at this resort. I can't say how good the service and the staff at this resort was. They were attentive and kind!! Great trip!

It looks like they will remodel this outdated room decor in Dec 2012. Much needed upgrade. Only downside.

Wonderful front desk staff. Great with shopping recommendations! Enjoyed checking in/visiting with Ulysses. Gunner also was very polite, positive & helpful in offering ideas of where to go and what to do. He was also thorough on hotel offerings, hotel dining, spa, etc. Room was clean and the view from the 7th floor balcany....spectacular. Rates very reasonable. Could use some updating. Staff was our high-point! Beach is awesome....sunsets-words will not do justice (can't beat the Gulf view). Thanks for making the just north of Pittsburgh, PA girls enjoy a wonderful time!
ps. Please consider making the parking free. It seems a bit cheesy to charge for parking.

Room Tip: Try for a 7th floor gulf view or higher....well worth it!

The Marco Island Hilton was great. Beautiful beach, large pool, large rooms. The staff went out of their way to make the visit enjoyable. Rooms could be, and are, being updated. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Hilton in May 2012. We paid for a 'garden view' room and got room 217. I was excited to be able to see both the pool and the beach. Our room looked just like it does in the pictures on the hotel website. There's a small, dorm sized refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer and night light in the room. We never watched the TV. This was a wonderful place to stay. There's a mall across the street with a few good choices for restaurants: Konrads, Nacho Mama's, and Divinci's. There's a place to get ice cream. The toilet was not a very good flushing toilet. We had to call maintenance twice. The room was very quiet. We paid $10/day to park our car in the lot. The pool area is beautiful. It was such a relaxing stay. I'm so glad we stayed here! Although they say you have to pay for Internet access they have free wired Internet in the business area. You can find it by turning right after the front desk as you walk toward the pool, then turn right at the end of the hall. You'll find "Laptop Workstations" right to the left. They have the cable you can connect to your computer in those rooms.
