Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort--CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS; REOPENING DEC. 1, 2017

I was underwhelmed by this hotel. As a Hilton Hhonors gold member I've traveled to many hiltons, including beautiful properties in Rome and Athens - this hotel did not meet my expectations at all. There was no mention of the significant renovation work prior to our arrival, and it had a serious effect on the entire place- lobby, pool area, etc. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet is good, but pricey. Other than that, the term "resort" is a serious overstatement, and the Marco Island area seems to be lagging. We couldn't find a bagel or donut shop within miles. The road construction on the main island road was miserable. The beach was ok, but the water is not nearly as beautiful as at the Naples Pier. Overall, I won't go back to Marco Island. The Marriott nearby looked like a much nicer property.

My wife and me just came back from our trip to Hilton Marco Island, It was a great time, we stayed in room 207 when we got there our room was not ready and we waited almost one hour and half and when we got into the room it looked like somebody slept in the bed or that front desk assigned our room to someone else before to us, inmideatly we called front desk to find out why they gave us a room that was not ready, even that in a couple of minutes in the room arrived Mr. Ronny Marty from housekeeping and he introduced himself and apologized for the inconvenience and was so polite giving us his business card plus two free breakfast cupons and a ticket with two free drinks that we enjoyed very much, he exceeded our expectations with his treatment not only the first day if not in our entire stay he took part of his time every day and called to our room to ask how we were and how was the service, very nice person, we recomment Mr. Marty as part of the real standards of Hilton Hotels.

The food was very good, the weather great!, the hotel was on construction but any how we had a great time, people is very friendly.

Definetly we'll come back to Hilton! we hope to see all the great staff.

My family just got back from a five night stay on Marco Island with a total of 4 rooms. Reading some of the reviews on this sight one might believe we were going to be staying in some back-water dump. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The dining facilites were fine - resort pricing - but we didn't find anything cheap and decent on the island or surrounds either. The staff was very friendly and never got atitude.

Let's talk about the old Radisson. If you are outside on the south side of the building or up and down the beach you will hear noise. Hilton doesn't own the property - actually this will become a Marriot time share property - so take it out on Marriot. We could not hear noise at the pool so it was quiet. You absolutely could not hear the noise in the rooms themselves (either north or south side) - or anywhere else inside the hotel. It is very obvious that all the rooms have goten new patio doors which did a fine job of keeping things quiet.

Two years ago we stayed at the Marriot - but at twice the price we could not justify staying there again. We would absolutely be back to the Hilton

We had checked in with our 4 small children and had been
pampered from the time we pulled into the parking lot. You see
we left the Sundial Resort on Sanibel Island to come here. My review of the Sundial is there under Sanibel Island Sundial
Resort. We are coming back to the Hilton in Feb. and can't wait.
Stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. We had a Jr. Suite
that had fit our family just fine. The shelling is better here than at Sanibel too! The food is good, the room service is excellent.....
what a place !!!!!

Great hotel in a beautiful area. The hotel itself is very relaxing and although our 2 day stay was affected slightly by some of the rejuvenation work going on , we couldn't fault the service and location. It is in a quiet location within the Marco Island resort but there were additional restaurants and even a cinema right across the road.
Well recommended.

I was a little worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews that were less than favourable. However we had a really great stay.
The staff were polite and friendly. When we booked in the three people behind the desk, including the manager seemed genuinely interested in where we had just come from and how our holiday had been so far. At this point we were also upgraded to a pool/sea view room.
The pool is lovely, and again the pool and pool bar staff are very friendly.
Tina the concierge was very helpful and helped us make the most of our stay.
Directly opposite the hotel is a nice square of restaurants and bars, to cater for all tastes. I myself liked 'Rookies', really cheap but great food and nice beer.
I will stay here again, especially if I can get the same price.

It is possible to be picky and be negative on a couple of points. But if you are not an miserable git who is going to let minor bits of noise and the odd 'men at work' sign ruin their holiday you will have a great stay.
