“Make a Bee Line to Lee Be Fish Company”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

We Visit Marco Island every year in February and May. We had never tried Lee Be Fish Company before but decided to give it a try based on trip advisor ratings! We were NOT disappointed. It was excellent! The grouper fish platter was ultra fresh, seasoned perfectly and served with a bountiful portion of rice and black beans. The fish tacos made with red snapper today were outstanding. Soft tortilla shell chock full of delicious fresh snapper. If a fine dining experience is what you're searching for, this is NOT your place. However, if paper dishes and plastic forks in a quaint courtyard setting is your idea of ambiance, you will be delighted by the delicious, casual fish meal you will encounter.

“friendly place”

Tiny little place in with some little shops. They have a very limited menu but the fish tacos were excellent. You can also watch them prepare fresh fish to take home and fix yourself.

“Delicious fish sandwich for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

We ate lunch at Lee Be because of the good reviews and weren't disappointed.

We tried the grilled fish sandwich with fries on the side. Wow, it was delicious. They grill the fish with their blend of spices and put it on a bun with a sauce that I think contains some curry. Totally fresh and yummy. The fries had a tasty coating on them.

The place is tiny inside, so most everyone eats at the outdoor tables, which are lovely when the weather is good (which it was).

We ate there a second time, but this time I tried the black beans and rice as a side dish to the fish. Very disappointing. There was a liquidy soup at the bottom of the cup. Stick with the fries.

“Delish Fresh Fish and Shrimp Tacos with cold Corona's - enough said”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

We biked to this terrific little spot from our condo and felt well rewarded for our effort with a great lunch at Lee Be. No indoor seating. Be prepared to eat in the quiet courtyard outside the shops of Old Marco - NOT A STRIP MALL - this is the first settled area of Marco Island which was originally a fishing village. Lee Be represents Marco's history well with its fresh fish dishes. You can also buy fish to take home and cook.

“Once is Not Enough!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

As my wife said, "Thank You Tripadvisor". We would not have found this place without you, and would be regretful had we not, as it was great. So great, we went back for round two, and it was just as good as the first.
