Very good service and food. Staff was very helpful and energetic. We had a great meal!! Small place so get there early

Based on some positive reviews, we went to find the place. Easy to find, parking lot, Inside and outside seating.
Menue interesting and good variety. Even with a wait (10 minutes) worthwile.
Staff polite, efficient and just plain friendly.
Nice setting Inside (only some tables, but decoration done with taste)
Cost for three some 35$ - a real bargain in marco island

Nene's is a popular spot in Marco Island. Good breakfast spot, typical selection, though the Crunchy French Toast is unique and worth trying (french toast with a thin coating for corn flakes). The Italian Omelet was a recommendation, and while it was huge and good, would probably get something else next time (though definitely worth getting the french toast).

Early morning during the week seemed to be the best time to go, but even when they were busy, service was good.

Our breakfast here was ok. It was not horrible. There was nothing major wrong--it just wasn't special--or cheaper than anywhere else. The reviews we read and the folks we talked to all said it was the best on the island. But, not in my book!

The food is excellent here and their wait-staff goes over and beyond!! We just ate there for dinner and had the prime rib and coconut shrimp. 5 Stars all the way!! The owner Bob is very friendly/helpful as well!
