“White Sand and Sunshine”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

The weather was perfect. The beach was almost vacant. My daughter, her husband, my wife and I were the only screwballs in the water. It was cool in the water, but it wasn't Maine cool. When the sun went down we enjoyed a great sunset. The only downside was that we pulled in off the road into a city owned parking lot. We went across the rod to John's Pass to eat and when we came back we had a $25 parking ticket. There are signs that say it is paid parking, but they were about 50 ft from where we parked and not obvious unless you walk the opposite direction from John's Pass. If we had gone to the beach first we would have seen them. Oh well!

“Wonderful Beach”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

This beach is a wonderful place to spend the day or just a couple hours. Sands are beautiful. Sunsets are gorgeous so bring your camera! Since it mostly condos, public bathrooms scarce, but available near the 150th St. parking area or near John's Pass. Restaurants and shops across the street in John's Pass as well.

“more crowded than Treasure Island”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Madeira Beach is a lot more commercial than Treasure Island with larger taller building and less view of the beach.

Very Clean little town. Felt very safe walking around, many things within walking distance. Banks, shopping, restaurants.
