Limited menu, only the freshest ingredients, Walt'z target audience is those who want only the freshest LOCAL seafood (Gulf grouper, snapper, hogfish, shrimp) prepared simply so the fish is the focus and the star of the night, not the spices or the sauce.
I agree with John M - Walt and Sue have realized the dream of the best on the beach and we, their patrons, are the beneficiaries.
Sandy and Bill, who always waits on us at the outside table, and all the staff sure the dream and all contribute much to the experience with their friendly manner and humor.
Food - everything is good no GREAT, I always try something I have not eaten before if I see it on the menu. But there are some constants - ALWAYS conch chowder, I could eat it every day. Always grouper cakes for the wife who won't eat fish anywhere else. She tried to take the mangrove snapper off my plate last Saturday night.
Get there early if you want to eat, but don't get there before us.
