“Beautiful view from 504!!”
Reviewed February 28, 2009

Loved the Sea Breeze!! Everyday and night was a gorgeous view off the balcony! I stayed in madeira beach for 7 days and had a wonderful, relaxing time! Just what I needed! The condo was close to all the shops and restaurants at johns pass- just a walk away!! I loved laying on the beach during the day hearing the waves and then moving up to the pool and sitting in the hot tub while enjoying the sunset! The condo unit #504 was spacious, clean and comfortable- it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.. the master bedroom had windows and a door that opened to the balcony overlooking the ocean - there is nothing like waking up to the sunrise and hearing the waves right from the bed!! It was a wonderful stay- i even could do a little work from my computer with the wireless internet! how convenient! I definitely will return for more R & R and of course a little fun in the sun!!

We just got back from a week at Sea Breeze and had a great week. The condo was exactly as described was just as the pictures in the owner's listing showed. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 and the condo was very nicely furnished.
The whole complex was kept up very nicely; the pool was clean, the locked gate to and from the beach kept it a little more private. The beach was beautiful with its white powdery sand.
We sat on our private gulf front balcony early in the morning and late in the evening and watched the dolphins playing in the gulf and the sunsets over the gulf. John's Pass Village is just a short stroll down the beach. We have stayed at Sea Breeze for a number of years now and have stayed in several suites. We have never been disappointed and we can recommend 707, 507 and 307 as suite with the beast views and comforts. We will certainly be going back again next year for our annual vacation in the sun.

Check in was simple and quick. Outside appearance of condo was excellent. Parking was way above average as far as space and availability. But then we went into our room #505!! The first thing that assulted our senses was the smell - it was a stale, musty, very old hotelish odor. The walls were stained and dirty, there was sand on everything - the kitchen counter tops, the chairs. It was dirty and messy under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks, the air grills had a heavy layer of dust/lint accumulation. The furniture was old and not at all what was pictured in the photo on the web site. The drapes, if you could call them that, had some kind of stains on the back sides. However, the kitchen appliances were relatively new and worked well. The refrigerator was clean on the inside and also worked well. The kitchen utensils were adequate. We didn't feel we could be comfortable staying in this room so we called the rental agency - they appologized but reminded us that the rental fee was non-refundable and since they wouldn't refund our money we requested a clean up. They responded in about an hour with a cleaning crew. A general cleaning of the entire condo was done and they did clean under the sinks this time. We went to the store and bought disenfectant and cleaner and we scrubbed the walls, dusted the air vents and sprayed the furniture and carpet with the disenfectent'/deodorizer. The vacuum cleaner didn't work well but we managed to get some of the dirt up off the carpet - which needs a good shampooing. After all these efforts -the condo (two hours of cleaning) didn't look bad - amazing what a little cleaning will do. Finally - we can get to the beach!! That night when we went to bed we found the bed too uncomfortable to sleep on - worn out. To get any sleep at all - we took the mattress into the living room on the floor and made do. Then to top it off - the noise from outside, especially the pool area (that was supposed to close at 8:00 PM) continued far into the night - until 2 & 3 in the morning every night that we were there. Our room was by the elevator - which didn't help with the noise. We have rented several condos at Maderia beach in the past and have never experienced a noise problem like this one. T he trash shoot that was located beside the elevator on each floor emitted an extremely unpleasant odor that one must endure while waiting on the eleavator - which took forever. There was only one elevator for the entire 7 story facility.

We stayed for 10 days and totally enjoyed our vacation. The location is excellent with fantastic sunsets. We enjoyed long walks in the morning on a great white sand beach and enjoyed visiting John's Pass alnost every evening.

Our unit had been updated and was very clean. Staff at the management firm was very pleasant and treated us like long lost family members. We heard that some units need to be upgraded and recommend doing your homework before booking. Note that friends of ours had visited our unit prior to our arrival. The bottom line is value for the money and we were more than happy with our experience. We are booked for 3 weeks in 2009 and can't wait to get back there. Not a perfect place for everyone but it surpassed our expectations.

My family and I have been vacationing at SeaBreeze for a number of years now and I thought I would take this opportunity to share our experiences. We have stayed in a number of different suites over the years and while there was some variance in style between the suites we have always found them to be clean and comfortable.
As we are a family of 6 we have greatly appreciated the roominess of the suites compared to hotels or motels. The kids have lots of space to play and the beach is just a few steps away. The heated pool and Jacuzzi is directly on the beach and is well looked after by the staff. The beach has to be one of the best in the whole of Florida - wide, powder white sand and gently sloping into the gulf. Very safe for the kids and lots of space to play in. John's Pass with all its activities is at the southern end of the beach and just a short 10 min stroll. One of our favorite activities is to stroll down to John's Pass for a bite to eat and catch the sunsets on our way back. On some occasions the Dolphins are also out to play - an amazing sight !
We have particularly enjoyed the views from the balconies which are spectacular along with the evening sunsets over the gulf.
Whilst the some of the units we have stayed in may not compare to some of the high end hotels they are certainly more affordable and offer excellent value especially for larger families like ours. We have If one is used to staying in high end resorts or hotels and has very high expectations then they may be a little disappointed. There is no restaurant or room service on site for starters!
We have tried several other condos up and down the beach but have found the location of SeaBreeze, particularly the views and the beach keep bringing us back. All in all we have not been disappointed with our stays and the value for money.
I hope this review will be helpful to other vacationers - thanks, Sharon
