We were happy to get it booked in short notice and still get beach view for holidays ! Unit 704 spacious for average family of 4, kitchen functional, just furniture outdated and all sleeping bedding & towels feels overused I usually get my own by this time regret not to have it, not enough toilet paper, not soaps or shampoos glad I did had my own, thank you for hospitality anyway

Looking for a place for a 3 night stay, relatives booked us into this Sea Breeze unit based on a past stay on the property. The property is older, but there is a nice pool area with a hot tub which brought them back. This stay definitely reinforced our belief that one should never book sight unseen from the owner directly, and should always go through a rental company or Realtor.
This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, with a large balcony directly on the Gulf. Beware!! There were missing blind slats in the kitchen and a bedroom, which negated any quest for privacy. One of the bedroom's TVs had a broken cable hook up, so had to be rigged with tape. There was no way to use the overhead light in the master bedroom, as it was wired to only operate when the ceiling fan was on (we figured out that was the reason there was a missing light bulb, as obviously previous guests had discovered this as well). Balcony doors would not slide open from the living room without extreme force, so everyone had to track through the Master bedroom if they wanted out. The furniture looks very nice, but has obviously been overused as there were sinkholes in the couch. There was no coffee pot for the electric drip coffee maker, which is a huge problem for the coffee drinkers. Keys are provided to open the stairwell and the bathroom by the pool; they worked for the bathroom about half the time, and we never made it into that stairwell!!
Did the owner make it right? You decide--he was notified within 20 minutes of our arrival. He said that he didn't live in town, but would contact the people who took care of things for him. The coffee pot arrived over 24 hours later, and the rest was left unfixed. We were never offered any discount or compensation in any way...
It is within walking distance to Johns Pass, so that was a positive. Luckily, we were traveling with close relatives/dear friends or this stay would only have negative memories. We will definitely be back to Madeira Beach, but will not stay in this Condo.

Room Tip: We heard from others that Condo Unit 207 is very nice

We stayed in unit #508. Do not let the outdated exterior of the building get you down when you first arrive. The unit itself is really nice. Everything is updated and beautifully decorated. We couldn't believe how low the rate was for such a nice place. The unit has almost everything you could need. The only 2 things it was missing were pot holders and grilling utensils (for the grill at the pool). Our only complaint was that the water temp in the master bath shower fluctuated and went from cold to extremely hot in a matter if seconds.

The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. But it's time to get some new lounge chairs. Many were dry rotting and had little paint left.

The beach was wonderful. The sand was soft and clean. There was never more than 10-15 people on the beach while we were there. We even saw a couple of dolphins one morning from our balcony.

This was a great place to stay the week as a family. The condo was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small kids.

Enjoyed the beach and gulf. Condo 605 was very outdated with no where to store groceries and the small appliances need to be replaced. The furniture was very nice and comfortable. The slow elevator was fine compared to other condos we stayed at. This is our third year at Madeira Beach and we plan on coming back next year. We love the Conch Republic for the good food, Dave's Dockside for the grouper sandwich, and DeRosa's Pizza for the pizza but we want to try their other food also. The hot tub was broken but was fixed the day before we left and some chairs at the pool should be replaced because they had turned black from the humid weather. The grounds around the building were immaculate as the grass was nicer than ours in WI. This condo was within walking distance to John's Pass and driving distance to Treasure Island where they had restaurant's and activities on the beach.

This was the first time that my family and I spent at the Sea Breeze Condos and we really loved it there! We will be going back (hopefully) again and again and again.
Our Condo, Unit 404 was very nice and had everything that you would have at home. The bedrooms were big and spacious, we loved the fact that there were 2 bathrooms (1 for the kids and 1 for us), and the balcony off of the master bedroom overlooking the Gulf was great too. I really loved waking up and walking right onto it and watching the water first thing in the morning. We had wonderful views and the sunset was just amazing too!!

Like a lot of people said on here I think the only negative thing was the elevator. It was slow and hot but honestly that's not going to hold me back from staying here again. Besides coming in and leaving with luggage which we need the elevator for I would just take the stairs. Not a big deal at all!

Enjoyed Unit 205 at the Sea Breeze. Condo was clean and nicely decorated. the owners even called on our second day there to be sure everything was ok. The view from the balcony was priceless, looking directly over the pool, hot tub and beach to the gulf. Saw dolphins most days. Sunsets from the balcony were perfect. Great long stretch of beach to walk. Pool and grounds are very nicely kept and clean. Easy walking distance to restaurants and John's Pass. We would definitely return and recommend this to our friends.

A happy return to Sea Breeze #207 in January 2012... our last stay was in April 2010.

The owners have kept the place up very nicely and the little nuances of Sea Breeze 207 are what keep us coming back. But of course- Location, Location Location - Sea Breeze is ideally located on the Gulf of Mexico, the view from the balcony at sunset would inspire a poet.

A short walk along pristine beaches to "John's Pass" (www.johnspass.com) provides an afternoon of entertainment, shopping and water sports.

But of course, all the location in the world would not work if the accomodations were not acceptable. Sea Breeze Condos have to be evaluated specifically to each condo as they are individually owned and operated. The facility is nicely kept up, with daily cleaning around the pool area. The grounds are well groomed and the addition of WIFI on the whole grounds was a nice surprise!

Our deepest thanks to the owners of Sea Breeze #207 who keep up our little slice of heaven on the Gulf of Mexico..... we will be back!!
