“Good food & prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

This was our second visit after spending my Bday here last year. Foods all been good, atmosphere is nice right on the water, and service is good. Prices are pretty reasonable for the location. If your in Johns Pass I would give it a shot if you're in the mood for seafood. Sitting outside was nice.

“A LITTLE FISH W/YOUR GREASE?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

This place is on the historic John's Pass and that is the only positive. Our dinners arrived over breaded and swimming in a pool of grease. Our lettuce in the dinner salads was lifeless. The whole atmosphere was a stench of burnt grease and even the tables bore witness to a sticky film of grease. We have found that the bigger the establishment - the nastier the food seems to be! Definitely NOT worth the money. Vacation is too short for nasty food!

“Decent”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

Overall, a decent experience. Everything we ordered was good, however nothing really blew us away. The corn fritters, aka hush puppies, were delicious.

Service was fantastic! Seated promptly, and our server was very nice. As stated, a decent restaurant that's worth a visit if your looking for a nice local restaurant.

“Tasty Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

Had a very friendly and helpful waitress,we had clam chowder, followed by shrimp done about 3 different ways. All very tasty, just a shame weather was so bad as could've sat outside and enjoyed a non-rainy view.

“Very nice lunch.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

My husband and I took my mom here for lunch and enjoyed our meal very much. My mom and I had the grilled chicken sandwich and we ordered the corn fritters as an appetizer (they were good, but not something we could eat all the time). My husband originally ordered the peel and eat shrimp, but upon eating the first one, he wasn't crazy about them at all and asked the waitress if he could switch it for the fried shrimp. He apologized a dozen times, but our waitress was eager to get him what he wanted. He really enjoyed the fried shrimp. They weren't very busy for a Saturday lunch and we had a great table by the window. Service was great!
