“Great staff made for a great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

I wish I could remember his name! (Maybe justin?) But a young gentleman helped my 3 year old daughter hold an alligator. At first she was terrified, but he helped her feel comfortable and eventually she was holding it all on her own. He helped make this a great experience for everyone!

“clean the cages!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

the smell hits you before you walk in the main door. $10.00 just to "touch" an alligator, another $10.00 to take a picture. Even the kids were bored.

We are very conscientious in cleaning the attraction several times a week ( and daily at busy times). If you smelled something when coming in, it could have been from one of our diapered guests. We have filters in every pen and cage, including all 5 gator enclosures, the koi pond, the fish, the turtles, the stingrays, the skink, the bearded dragons, and the seahorses. We clean up after Rudolph immediately, and we try to feed him close to closing so he doesn't make a mess. Hopefully, you return and have a better time

“Lots of Gators”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

They had lots of gators but in small pens and with no scenery/habitat for them to live. Felt sorry for the gators.

We have our pens at least twice as large as what is required by the state. They get fresh water and are fed everyday which is more than what happens in the wild. These alligators are raised specifically for either education and display, restaurants, or tanneries, so they get to live a long life- about 25 more years than in the wild. We work with them for enrichment of their brains, and they are happy because they get lots of food!

“Must See Alligator Attraction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

The Alligator Attraction is located above the shops at John's Pass and is a must see. It was inexpensive to take a tour for a family and the employees were very knowledgeable. The tour is interactive from holding to being able to feed all different size alligators to Rudolph, the tortoise, who's very active and friendly and could almost be a tour guide. :)

“Kelly's Alligator Adventure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

We were very impressed with The Alligator Attraction and Mr. Lewis. He really did a great job of sharing his knowledge and love of alligators. My daughter (age 9) had a great time training the gators and being able to hold a gator. The exhibit had everything from baby gators to a big gator to reptiles they have rescued. You could even bottle feed the koi fish. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Florida!
